Mauricio hit the potted plant with enough force in his hit that it broke. He then stood quickly, pulling his Walther out of Scarlet, aiming at her jugular. Mauricio still didn't understand why 0 made 1 a 16 year old, but no one questioned 0 outloud. It was like asking for your finger to be cut off.

He grimaced, cursing as he grabbed his shoulder. His world was gone. He had been in this business, how could he have let this happen? He strife back inside, leaning over the kitchen sink and prying the bullet out of his already injured shoulder, blood spattering.
She ran out of his line of sight and into the darkness.
When Scarlet ran, Mauricio stayed. "I know the protocol, but do you want her back alive?"
He paused, bandaging his shoulder, knowing he would regret this decision later. "Yes. Keep me posted and call me if you need help"
Darius stood at the door and was setting up a laser system, he pressed a button and the lasers activated tapping them inside.
Mauricio nodded. "I will, but I'm going to need your word that you quit drugs." Mauricio paused. "Y'know, Quid Pro Quo "
"I quit,"he muttered, picking up a bottle if pain pills, prying two out. "For my wound!" He said clearly.
Mauricio cursed loudly. "I heard a shot, but didn't investigate." Mauricio aim at Darius.
Darius sighed. "Sorry guys just protecting Scarlet." He said running off.
porscheWith his right hand he knew it was a tricky shot, but his left arm was gone. He sent one into the kid's side, dating through a floor length window to his porsche.
Scarlet had thought ahead and had slashed his tires to all his cars. Darius grunted and stumbled into the darkness.
Mauricio put the Walther in its holster and looked at the lasers.
Muricio then grabbed glass and made room for him to go out throuhgh the front door by refractin ght light from the laser. Mauricio ran out side, wondering if the whels on his Volkswagon were slashed.
Plan ran down the street in the opposite direction, his eyes ona low profile car, climbing in and speeding In the direction Scarlet went. ((her house?))

Mauricio saw his car was not tire-slashed. He got in his car and drove after Liam, flicking the nitrous on for three second in order to catch up.
Scarlet walked to Liam's place and looked around, she saw it was empty and frowned.
There was a note on the coffee tabe=le, the bag with the burnt necklace on top of it. It read, Scarlet~ I have gone to 0 to beg for your mercy in exchange for mine. Do not think you are safe because she favors you. I have seen her kill girls she trained herself. Do not come find me. That would only make my torture or death in vain. They will come to find you. So run. Please, please run. I love you Scar. ~Liam
Under the note sat a sealed envelope that read After you are on the run. There were candles on the table, the rest of the lights all out.
"Thats stupid idiot!!" She yelled before storming out to go talk to her mother.
Scarlet woke up and a scream of pain ripped through her, the pain searing through her.
Liam returned with a glass and pills, along with ointment, dabbing it on her wounds. He put the pills in her mouth and handed her the glass of water. "Drink"he commanded, tightening the splint on her leg. She had a padded bandage on the back of her head. She had not let Liam escape unscathed, however, his face bruised. When he left to get more gauze, a heavy back brace was visible through his shirt.
She tried to swallow the pills but couldn't get her muscles to move with out there being pain. She whimpered softly as she passed from the pain.
He returned, laying a wet cloth on her forehead and stroking her cheek with his thumb. he sat in the floor, falling asleep with his head touching hers.
She woke up a bit later and tried to move, she couldn't move at all because it hurt to much. "Make it stop..." She whimpered.
He kissed her, sighing. "Scar, I wish I could"
"It hurts..." She whimpered, it hurt so much she couldn't even cry. It hurt to breath so she tried to stop.
He rubbed her neck, sighing. He took an iv needle and injected medication into her, his eyes never leaving her face. "I'm so sorry" Was all he could choke out
She wanted to reach out and comfort him tell him it was ok, but she couldn't so she just smiled widely in his direction.
He kissed her bare chest, which was mostly bandaged, before laughing as he leaned back, though it was an uneasy chuckle.
She mustered up enough strength to move so that she was laying across Liam's lap. "Love you..." She said softly.
He rubbed her hair, running his hands through it slowly. "I love you too." Then he sighed heavily, looking up across the room. "That second note I left you was about us. This won't last much longer, will it?"
"I don't know, I don't know." She said softly.
"It can't" he sighed, breaking his own heart as he kissed her nose. "I'm thirty for God's sake, Scar." he whispered, brushing back her hair again.
"I don't care about that, all I know is that I love you..." She said with a sad whimper.
"It's not right though," he whispered, sucking slowly on her tongue briefly before releasing, his lips against her cheek.
"I don't want to be alone again..." She whispered against his chest, shaking slightly.
He rubbed her arms. "I know. But it's not fair for you to be tied down to someone fourteen years older than you," he whispered.
"It wouldn't be fair to be living in hell either..." She said bitterly.
"What do you mean?" he asked quietly.
"Your like my heaven, you bring out the side of me i didn't even know i had." She said softly.
He sighed a long time, playing with the ends of her hair. "I will stay then," he smiled mutedly.
"Before I meet you I felt like I was nothing, just a hollow shell. Like I had no real purpose, but then I meet you and that all changed. You showed me what it meant to smile, what it meant to live, and what it meant to love..." She said happily.
"Scarlet," he stopped, his eyes meeting hers, trying to hide the pain in them. He kissed her tightly and heatedly, sighing.
She kissed him back and rested her forehead against his. "I love you Liam, I don't care what happens. I. Will. Always. Love. You. No. Matter. What." She said softly.
He nodded, frowning slightly, yet pulling her up to straddle his lap, holding her up so he could kiss her right, in a smooth, heated passion.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "Your mine, no one else's."
"Alright," he purred, his dark eyes smouldering.
"Don't your forget it either." She said nipping at his lower lip.
He chuckled, leaning back and raising an eyebrow at her.
