I'm sorry, but... haha! :D That sounds familiar ;)

If I remember correctly, that's pretty good for you :)
I have 12 :)

No, When they're archived it just means you cant download them anymore.

Yep, book one - https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/sho... :)

I usually post the actual review in the box that says 'review this book', then for the link, I put blog-date, and the link is the permalink for the review which will only be useable from the date the review will go up.
then in the 'Thoughts for the publisher?' notes, bit, I once again say that the review will go up on the blog on x-date, and the permalink. then leave a link to the review on goodreads as well, and if I've already posted the review to amazon I'll put the link to that in there too.
Does that help?

There's a little option below the cover for doing the star ratings, I usually fill it in the same as on goodreads, but you don't have to if you don't want to ☺

I include the same rating as i put on GR, but I state if its a half rating in review.
Thoughts for the publisher: I ask questions, like will there be a sequel? Or I state if i had problems with the galley, e.g. font too small or got approved the day before archive date. Or complimenting style of book.

Occasionally I email them directly my questions, then i get answers. But I only do this when they are pending.
I never seem to get answers to questions either. Sometimes you wonder if anybody actually reads what you write when you submit a review on netgalley.

It really annoys me that you can't withdraw a request!
I think I have some that I've had for ages, I've got one for disney that I requested february 25th, one for All Night Reads which has been pending since decemeber 2014, and 4 more requested in march.

hmm, i hope something will but I wouldn't bet on it being anything good. the last time i contacted them they were pretty rude to me.

I have a bunch on edelweiss that are even older than a month. But when I contacted them they said it is not their policy to push the publishers to reply. I don't feel like it is pushing them if the requests are 2 months old. They must have forgotten about them. I would rather get denied then have so many pending requests.

I got a nice reply, saying they would contact the publisher and, at this point, I'm like Jennifer, I don't really care if they're approved or not, I just don't want them pending.

I send feedback to a publisher, saying that the book had been archived, so I wasn't able to read and review. Then I noticed two weeks later that the book was available to download again, so I downloaded it, read it and wrote the review. At that point you weren't able to change your review on netgalley though, so Icouldn't submit the review, because I'd already sent feeback saying 'this book is archived'.
So, I figured I'd email netgalley and ask if there was anything I/they could do about it, and got a very rude email back saying that I should not have submitted feedback until I'd read the book - never mind if it had been archived and then unarchived - and that I could email them the review, and they would send it to the publisher for me, but it would count as a strike against me, and that if I did it a second time they would not be so forgiving. Needless to say I didn't reply, and I have no intentions of emailing them ever again!
