How do you get invitations?

You have to wait for a publisher to invite you to read and review their book. There isn't really any way to get them, they just happen occasionally.

The only way I know is to keep your ratio high, and submit feedback on time. If a publishers knows that they can rely on you to read and review in a timely fashion you're more likely to get pre-approved ☺

Yes, it's quite easy to use (much easier than Edelweiss, that's for sure!)

I don't really know! I just opened my NetGalley e-mail and there was a pre-approval for a book. I didn't request it (didn't even click on it).

I got that one too. I'm trying to work out whether it's only part 1 of the book, or whether its the first book of a series. I think it's only 1/4 of the book!

Can't you estimate with the number of pages from Goodreads?

It says 400 on goodreads, so its possibly only 100 pages long, which hopefully wouldn't take long.

Well, as you have that beautiful dashboard on NetGalley, I think you should go for it. As my dashboard is extremely depressing right now (around 25 books waiting to be read *gulps*), I think I'll pass this one.
