Something Strange and Deadly & Clockwork Angel

Does it bother you that both books are so similar?

I didn't find them to be that similar in my opinion. When I think about Something Strange and Deadly, the first things that comes to mind are zombies while when I think about Clockwork Angel, it's the thoughts of Will and Jem and little mechanical villains.

When i first read this book, I was excited because I wanted something that was like TID b/c I'd began to the way people talked in the nineteenth century. But once I began reading it, I felt like i was reading The Clockwork Angel, but only the names and locations were changed. And Spirit Hunters!?!?! What the fuckity fuck fuck!! Susan Dennard had a lot of nerve for writing such a book! Not only with the betrayal of the brothers, and the handsom guys who are assholes, but the main girls have some sort of unknown supernatural gift! I read this Something strange and deadly a year ago and I'm still pissed about it to this day.
