Hadn't thought of Matthew, but most pretty men in Hollywood who are the right age are too pretty to be Brothers. Unfortunately, I like actors because they change their looks for movies but wrestlers and mma fighters don't. So even if they have the build of a Brother it's hard to picture a crew cut as long hair or a blond as a brunette. And men look completely different with hair and without it. Look at john travolta in from paris with love as opposed to pulp fiction. He's way too old to be a Brother, but hair makes a difference.
I want Idris Elba as Trez or iAm. I will ponder on the Brothers but really I can't see a Hollywood actor because the Brothers are HUGE. I agree with Stephanie. I don't think there are many 6'3+ 250 lb "actors" running around the streets of Cali that have the height, weight and menacing look. Body builders, etc yes. Maybe sexy pants Alcide from True Blood...that's all I got... Oh maybe the Rock Dwayne Johnson but dang he's gotten so big he can barely move lol j/k

One example that comes to mind is Captain America, have you seen it? Before he became Captain America he was little and very thin and after his transformation he was all muscle, it was the same actor but with lots of CGI.

Ooh yes, Idris Elba for Trez and Howard Charles for iAm (he's currently playing Porthos on BBC's 3 Musketeers.

OMG. This thread became homework for me. I've spent, like, an hour putting this together. First, having been on independent sets and particularly around the casting discussions, I can tell you that they wouldn't cast so much for everybody being 6'3" 250+ pounds. Instead, they would cast the Brothers to be as tall as possible and equally so across the board and then every male and female person they cast would be way shorter/smaller so you'd end up with the impression of height and size. If the tallest guy was 6' all the non-brother men would be like 5'9"/slim and all the women would be like 5'4".
But digress.
I love how the CW (Arrow, Originals, Vampire Diaries, Star Crossed)and MTV (Teen Wolf) cast for men. Pretty, young and contractually obligated to have their shirts off.
So here are my (not too quick) thoughts about casting
Wrath-Brandon Routh (Ousted Superman) or Henry Cavill (New Superman)
Rage-Bradley James (Merlin/Arthur) or skewing older Jensen Ackles (Supernatural/Dean)
Zsadist/Phury- Kellan Lutz (Twilight/Emmett Cullen) Looks awesome with a buzz cut and totally different with hair
Tohrment- (by far the toughest for me because his reliability and steadiness through the books also made him seem older in my mind.) Eoin Macken (Merlin/Sir Gwaine)
Vishous- (not for height or build but because he has that brooding I'll-try-anything-three-times sexy earnestness thing going on and all without you ever know what's going on in his head.) Santiago Carrera (Merlin/Sir Lancelot)
John Matthew- Two actors for reasons previously mentioned. Pre-trans I like Robert Sheehan. He is a brilliant actor (Darren in Love/Hate and Nathan in The Misfits) Post-trans...?????A Tom Welling type. ( I can't even consider his friends SMH)
As far as Trez or iAM..... Charles Micheal Davis (The Originals/Marcel) and Connor Jordan Vampire Diaries)

i love your idea of jensen ackles as rage he was my favorite character & book in the series and im in love with jensen ackles! i like the othes too lol

Rage was my favorite character/book as well...I thought I was the only one!
You arent i loved him soooo much haha the other are amazing to but he speaks to my soul lol

Already have Jason Momoa as V, Giana Carano as his sister Payne, Butch is Nathan Fillion. Z and Phury will be the hardest you have to find someone that looks good bald and with hair. Plus for the bald guy he has to be able to pull off a scar and being skinny. John is going to be hard too because you have to find someone who can be huge and imposing or small and week.
