Prayer requests?
This is so nice Camy. Prayer is a powerful thing. Praying for others sometimes gives you as many blessings as the people you pray for.

The last few months have been so powerful for me, especially the last one. I could see God leading me in a path to becoming a prayer warrior. I'd stumble on articles, books, sermons or just hear word from someone, and it would be so clear it is God talking. The last God has brought on my path is Stormie Omartian's new book, 'Prayer Warrior'
I haven't read anything like it before. It is so powerful and puts a lot of things into perspective that as a growing prayer warrior you may take for granted or not understand its significance. I strongly recommend you read this book. I think God directed me to this page for this.You can find a review I wrote on the book on my blog mautobeaperson.wordpress.com, but it wouldn't be so different from what I'm saying here. But you can still read it if you want.
It's good to know these authors are prayer warriors! I love MaryLu Tyndall! She inspires me in more ways than I can express. I can't stop raving!

Wow, way exciting new book! Thank you for sharing about it; I appreciate Stormie's writings and have added to my wish list - can't wait for it to be released!! I have so much to learn about prayer...and the Lord just says, 'pray anyway!' God is faithful!

That's AWESOME Miranda! I've been stumbling on Bible verses and things also, to help me be a better prayer warrior. I just bought the book Draw the Circle by Mark Batterson and hope to start it today or tomorrow!

You can never learn too much about praying. In fact, I'm presently reading Joel Osteen's 'I Declare'.

I'm going through something similar with my second book in the series I'm working on--The Child of Grace Series. Only it's worse because I'm experiencing the same with my blog as well. But God has been faithful and the story for book #2 has started to come in trickles while I still work on regular posts for my blog. You are in my prayers ...

Hi everybody! I have a critical prayer request. Our city and the towns around us are flooded due to excessive rain. It was just on the news, the governor has declared a state of emergency. I can't stress enough how bad it is. Roads and highways are closed. The city sewer system is stressed because of excessive water. More rain is coming! Please pray! Thanks so much. kg

Hi! The rain has stopped and the flood waters have receded. We have rain in the forecast over the weekend though. There are many families with damage due to flooding and tornados. Thank-you for your continued prayers.

Good morning. My friend is asking that we pray for her sister Karen. The doctors have told Karen she has one year to live, maybe less. She has cancer. They are doing chemo because if they didn't, she would live three months. Thank-you for praying.

This is a quote, 4 spots weren't cancer, 3 spots shrunk, the big mass shrunk, so she only needs radiation on the big mass but will have to keep doing chemo till the cancer is gone. I'd like to offer my prayers for her as well. My husband has CLL a form of Leukemia. He was in a 'trial program' but because of the med. his condition worsened. He's at home now and his next appointment at Dana Farber is tomorrow. All prayers would be appreciated.
How terrible it must have been for Katherine's friend Karen, to be told she had a year to live. I can't imagine being told that. What some people have to bare, their faith and love of God shines through during such a horrific time in their lives.

Thank-you so much for praying. Karen is not good. I have an update. The doctors are going to check her stomach and liver with a scope. Then, when she is finished with chemo and radiation they will start brain radiation. I'm speechless. Thank-you again for your continued prayers.
Katherine - I'll keep Karen in my prayers. I'm thinking of you both.

For everyone who is praying for Karen, she is cancer free. She didn't have cancer in her brain and she gets checked again in a month, but she is cancer free right now! YAY!

For those who had prayed for Karen ~ she passed away a couple of hours ago. Thank-you so much for your prayers.
So sorry to read this. It hits home because I was diagnosed with aggressive triple negative breast cancer - in 2012 but God in His strength and Mercy is allowing me to tarry on earth... despite Chemo every 21 days I am able to serve him by writing clean, sweet and also Christian inspirational romances. I give Him all the glory!
