So, August.

Going into this, I think it's fair to mention that Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles (no, spellcheck, I DO NOT mean Hound of the Basketballs) and Gaiman's Ocean at the End of the Lane were STRONG contenders for last month.

So, unless some plucky underdog comes and does an upset, that's probably what we'll be reading in August.

However! Here at Bookhungry we love plucky underdogs! So, we welcome book suggestions. Leave them here!

Bon (bonne) I vote for those two! Neil Gaiman is one of the best.

Bon (bonne) I mean... I guess Doyle is too, what with all that Sherlock writing. Oops.

Fawn Pender | 23 comments I am intrigued with "Hound of the Basketballs", though, Allison. Sounds like something the mother of a youth basketball player might write!

Gaiman is awesome! Doyle, you know, he did some stuff. :)

Fawn, I myself thought it sounded like a new version of one of those movies where a dog plays a sport remarkably well. Though, it is tremendously amusing to me to try to imagine that style of movie...as written by Doyle.
