Struggle, survival and transformation is what the book is all about. Change happens for those served by the ministry and for the church itself as uptown and downtown cultures collide and prejudice and suspicion must be overcome.
Dr. Wade takes us through the ups and downs of this challenging ministry and shares the insights gained as he and his team sought to bring the love and grace of God to those at the margins of society.
