Finished chapter 5! It took me so much longer than I had expected to finish the book for other challenges, so I started this later than I'd planned.

I agree! Livie (view spoiler)[ has been my favorite since book 1. She's such a great character. I loved the scene where she punched him too :D Like I didn't expect that from her at all. (hide spoiler)]

And the abuse with his father was a tab unrealistic and over the top, but I could see Ashton's being exactly what it was, It was just awful! (hide spoiler)]

That is one thing I love about the author's writing, she doesn't sweep the problems under the rug so to speak. She makes the point that where there are issues like that there needs to be a solution and they can't be brushed off! (hide spoiler)]

Okay, I am in slow-MO but I finished chapter 4 and I love it so far.

Livie is my favorite character and she was in the first book, too. I love her spunky, feisty mouth! (view spoiler)[ I loved the scene where she punched Ashley but I loved the next morning scene in the bedroom even more. Imagine a penis standing at attention! She must have been mortified and yet it must have been so hilarious, too. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not too sure about Dr. Stayner, but only because he is a bit unorthodox to say the least. I personally (view spoiler)[ don't like that she got so drunk at the party. She could have been raped or worse and only by the grace of God wasn't she. It also made me upset with her sister that she left her alone because she must have been somewhat aware of the type of guy(s) she was left to fend off. (hide spoiler)]

I'm trying to finish this one and Altered and then get back in the swing of things again...hoping!

OMG I just now saw this...sorry! Well, I am only in chapter 8. I read up to that point and haven't read in a few days...school began and I've been too busy. The beginning of the school year is time-consuming!
