I Need Help Remembering a Book Series

Yes, I need some help here, I've been looking for a book series for awhile now and can't for the life of me remember what it was, especially the title, which really is the main problem I'm having.

So, like I said, I need help, if anyone can help me remember I'd really appreciate it.

Now, all I remember from the series is the beginning of the first book where this girl, the main character, is thrown from a car after an accident, or some thing, can't remember. But she's lying in the snow when she awakens, which is when the book starts and she can't really move, and a wolf starts heading towards her.

Now, the only other thing I remember, is eventually she's found and taken to this strange boarding school. Or some kind of school. lol.

I'm really sorry I'm not much help here, I really don't remember much.

Though if this helps, it's a young adult fantasy series. Hope someone can help.

No, definitely not. House of Night starts off in the school. I think, can't remember. This series starts out with her in the snow after the accident.

It kind of sounds like the wolves of mercy fall series. Like shiver, linger, and forever. Maybe?

Ok, let me set everyone straight on this, sorry if that came out rude by the way, I didn't mean to.

But, as far as I know, it's not a werewolf series, though for all I know there may be werewolfs in it.

But that wolf I described, it was just an ordinary wolf that happened upon her hurt form.
