He kissed her forehead. "I know. It's almost over."

The doctor put a bandaid on the spot where he took the blood. "There."
The doctor went off to look at the sample.
She sat close by him. "I'm kinda nervous." She whispered.
"Don't be," he said.
She nodded. "Do we want to know the gender?" She asked softly.
"Do you?" he asked.
She bit her lip. "No I want it to be a surprise. If that's okay with you." She said to him.
He nodded. "That's fine."
She kissed him softly. "I'm so excited." She said.
He kissed her back. "I am too."
The doctor smiled. "Congratulations, you are pregnant. Do you mind if I do a scan to see how far along you are?"
She beamed. "Sure, go ahead." She said, and then kissed Andrew.
Andrew kissed her back.The doctor made her lay back before starting the scan. "It appears you're about 14 weeks."
"Over three months?" She asked, slightly surprised.
The doctor nodded. "Yes, over three months."
She smiled. "Baby we're having a baby!" She said excitedly.
Andrew smiled and hugged her. "I'm so happy."
She hugged him tightly, burying her face in his shoulder.
He rubbed her back.
"I can't believe this." She whispered, her voice cracking.
"I can't either," he murmured.
He kissed her cheek, carrying her back to his room in the infirmary.
She smiled, she was happy crying. She just held onto him.Ruby walked up. "Oh no! Did you hear the sad news that you're too lame to make a child?" She commented.
Andrew pushed Ruby out of the room and barred the door, sitting down on the bed with her.
Calla looked up at him, her eyes sad after what she said.
Andrew kissed her cheek. "Relax..."
She leaned into him. "I don't know why but I think if what she says sometimes is true..." She said softly.
He held her. "She's wrong. Completely wrong."
He nodded. "Promise."
She hugged him tightly. "How are you feeling?" She asked him.
He hugged her back. "Better in the sense of not throwing up... but my back feels weird."
"Oh... That's weird. Do you want me to get the doctor?" She asked him.
He shook his head. "No."
"Are you sure? I don't want you to be worse." She said to him.
"I don't want to be prodded, I want to spend time with you."
He kissed her forehead.
She smiled and stayed close to him. "I love you so much." She whispered.
"I love you more," he murmured.
"That's not possible." She said softly.
"But it is," he whispered.
He kissed her back the same.
She pressed close against him, pressing him against the back of the wall.
