She slept peacefully.He smiled. "Anything for you."
He smiled and watched her.She kissed him lightly then a nurse came in, saying they would have to start the surgery.
It was already late when she was asleep. The nurse made Andrew change into clothes he could wear into surgery before they brought her back into the operating room.
He was working around, trying to clean up a little.She was so nervous, her hands were sweaty and she was fighting off tears. "Andrew I'm scared." She said to him.
She woke up when she noticed he wasn't there. He squeezed her hand gently. "You'll be safe. Your hips will be completely fixed after this surgery."
He came in the room with just some pants on. "Hey princess." He said with a smile.She nodded and laid back on the operating bed. They got her all strapped in. She kissed him one last time and said "I love you." Then they put her to sleep. She held his hand.
She smiled. "Hey, baby."He held her hand through the entire surgery. There were no complications."
"How did you sleep?" He asked her.She woke up a few hours after, feeling groggy and numb all over.
"Good," she said. He was sleeping beside her, still holding her hand.
He smiled and sat on the edge of the bed. "That's good." He said.She looked over at him and smiled. He kept his promise. She squeezed his hand slightly and looked at her hips. They didn't look different but it would probably feel different when she tried to walk again.
She pulled him closer. "Lay with me."He woke up when she squeezed his hand. "Hey, baby."
He smiled and laid down."Hey." She said softly.
She moved closer. "How was it for you?" he asked.
He grinned at her.She shrugged. "I didn't feel a thing. I'm kinda numb now though." She told him.
She smiled back. "That's a good thing," he said.
"So..." He said.She nodded and smiled softly.
"Breakfast?" she suggested.He kissed her gently.
"Sure." He said.She smiled and kissed him back.
She got up and put clothes on.He pulled away. "Are you better?"
He put a shirt on.She nodded. "Thank you for being here." She said.
She led him down to the dining hall when they were both ready. "Anything for you," he said.
He held her hand.She smiled and hugged him softly.
She laced her fingers through his. He hugged her back.
He smiled and walked with her.She sighed happily, not feeling any pain.
She sat in her seat. "It was a lot of worrying for nothing, huh?"
He sat next to her.She smiled softly and nodded.
She started eating. He kissed her cheek. "At least that was good."
He began as well.She nodded and smiled.
She ate most of her food. She was released from the hospital a week later.
He finished his.She smiled once she was let out and ran around happily.
She smiled at him. He chuckled. "It's good to be out."
"Can I have yours?" He whispered.She giggled and ran circles around him.
She laughed, pushing her plate towards him. He lifted her and spun her around.
He smiled and started to eat it.She giggled and grinned.
She played with her hair. He kissed her forehead. "Come on. Let's go home."
He finished up and smiled at her.She nodded and took his hand, running to the carriage.
She smiled. "You have quite the appetite."\He ran beside her. By the time he got there and helped her up he collapsed into his seat, wheezing.
He shrugged. "Well I haven't eaten much my entire life." He said.She giggled and was out of breath. "It feels so good." She said to him.
"Understandable," she said. "I personally think we have too much."He smiled a bit. "It does."
"I could eat it all." He said.She smiled and helped him up, sitting next to him.
"Then go for thirds," she said. He coughed.
He chuckled. "No this is enough, I don't want to seem like a pig." He said."Are you okay?" She asked him worriedly.
She giggled. "Don't worry, Uncle Lenny's got up to four helpings in a meal. It's alright."He nodded. "I will be."
He chuckled. "I'm fine." He insisted."Baby what's wrong?" She asked him.
"If you're sure," she said. "Relax baby, I just have asthma," he said.
He nodded and kissed her cheek."Okay... Well let's get home quickly then." She said, and told the driver to get going, and quickly.
She smiled. "What should we do today?""I'll be fine," he said. "I just have to sit down for about an hour."
"Anything." He said happily.She nodded. "Okay. Lie your head on my lap." She told him, patting her legs.
"Um... I don't know," she said. He chuckled and did as told.
