Oh, I agree, Nadine has been waiting a long time. I would like to see NR/JDR revisit the one girlfriend of Troys that was mentioned before....and I really hope she reads our ideas on here, there are some great ones.

I can't wait for this one. The nice thing is a couple of other authors are coming out with their books in January. That way I won't have any distractions when Concealed comes out.

I wondered if it is someone she knew when she was in the system before she turned 18 and went to the academy. The place used to be for troubled teens after all.

Oh that's not too bad. I PVR all Castle eps even if I watch it while it's airing.

Chapter 4 and I have been crying for half an hour. I am loving this book so far!
It's out today! :) I must have this book!
Finished and I loved it. I guessed correctly early as to who it was, but didn't expect the ending. I loved that it was a mystery rather than a known killer. There was a marked lack of Eve's posse and besides Mavis' story, not a lot in the personal side. Next book should be Christmas time and that's always good for a laugh. Favorite quips were Bella's name for Somerset and "Homicide: Our day starts when yours ends. Permanently."
Still reading, but I agree. I think this was the best storyline for Mavis in a very long time.
Loved this book! Since I was disappointed in both Delusion and Calculated, it was nice to have three releases (including the novella) that I really enjoyed. I really liked Mavis' history in this storyline. Bella's still giving a very uncomfortable Eve smooches and talking more. Not so much of the rest of the team in this one but liked the hint of more exciting things to come for Nadine. Eve's mixed metaphors are back, and very funny too. A new character, Sr Dewinters, should be an interesting addition to the mix.

Whew... one of the better books. It seems like I laugh more more with the last few books and this one was no different. I love the whole back story about Mavis and Eve. I was thinking the the forensic anthro might end up with Morris. I've always thought Nadine and Baxter should get together. I really like Baxter and would love to see him front and center in a story for once. I was sorry not have anything with Feeney, but the bits with Dennis made up for that. I liked how different this story was. I wished they could have figured out the 12th girl, but I like how Roarke resolved it for Eve.
