Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments I haven't got any AP classes so... 0?

But next year I'm taking AP US and I'll be sure to brag about it here. Unless I fail. In which case I won't be very happy.

I'm sure you'd get a 5 in AP Stalking.

@Emily

And you get a 5 in AP Creative Writing. :P

Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments OMG there needs to be an AP Stalking class.

Full name:

Advanced Placement Stalking and Creeping

with an emphasis on lethal weapons.

i am so freaking scared to check mine.

Taylor | 0 comments CHECK THEM, SAM!!!

Which tests did you take?

Whoops, forgot to post mine.

I got a 4 on AP Language. Which is shocking because the teacher did absolutely nothing to prepare us. Like, we did vocabulary tests that were absolutely useless on the test. And he had us do MLA formatting stuff that was worth about 20% of our grade that was also useless on the test. It wasn't until about 3 weeks before the test that he was like, "Oh yeah. I should've been teaching you this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this a long time ago."

So it's basically my natural talent that got me through that test. :D

In other news, Savannah got a 4 on Language and APUSH, and a 5 on Calculus. I'm very proud and surprised on that last one, because I was scoring her stuff for her so she could have more time to practice, and she was suffering. But she is obviously really smart. :D

psych. i don't even wanna think about it hahaha. -_-

message 10: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments But Psychology is like the easiest test there is. I have a friend who got a 4 this year without taking the class. XD

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments that's basically what happened to me. my teacher couldnt teach. at all. XD

message 12: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments That was AP Language all the way. We wrote a few essays at the very end, but that was about it. Other than that, he tried to go all hipster poet on us and tried to teach us valuable life lessons. Which was cool and I did learn a lot, but nothing about how to write better.

So my score just proves I'm a natural genius. XD

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments can we just get rid of this thread? everytime i see it i shudder. :/

message 15: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments But you should tell us what you got. :D

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments i have this thing that if i don't check something, it doesn't exist. and i know it's irrational but blahh. so i am so not checking right now. XD

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments I got a 3 in AP English Literature.

message 19: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments Eh, I'll take it. I'm not complaining, because I mean I passed, but for KU the 3 only counts as an elective, while a 4 would have gotten me out of English classes. So basically, I /sort of/ wasted a year, but I learned much more in the class than I would have if I had taken my other option. I'm not bummed out because I really don't mind taking another English class.

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments hey, it's less classes you have to take, and that's always good. :)

message 21: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments True. Like I said, definitely not bummed. I'm just happy I passed because my class had a surprisingly low pass rate!

EJ | 301 comments I got a 3 on the AP World, which I'm pleased with. I don't think I normally would be, but I had an awful teacher and during the essay portion of the exam had some like epiphany or something where I realized that none of it really mattered all that much, and rather than stress myself out over the essays, I should put anything I know down and stay in the format. And... make the rest up? I was just looking around at everybody and thought it was really funny that we were in this building that we had been bused to to take some stupid three hour exam that's somehow supposed to analyze our comprehension of THE HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE WORLD.

So after making sarcastic comments about Pythagoras, using phrases such as "marvelously broad trade system" and "the metaphorical pedestal they had placed themselves upon" I'd say I'm pretty pleased with a 3. :) (Even if my teacher said that we'd all get 4's at worst.)

You guys all did really well! *much clapping*

*applauds*

yeah, i BSed my way through most of my essays too, hahah.

Taylor | 0 comments I BUILT A FREAKING TOWER OF B.S. WITH MY ESSAYS. XD

I literally had no clue what I was saying because I felt dizzy and a really cute girl named Savannah was sitting next to me, giving me concerned looks every time I almost fell out of my chair.

But it payed off, I guess.

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments I was extremely panicky on test day and I was realizing that everything I had spent a year working my ass off for came down to this and so I knew that I didn't do as well as I could have but it was because while I was taking the test I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. You know how in AP English Literature you have 2 hours to write 3 essays? Yeah, I was done with mine in an hour and a half. So that scared the shit out of me, obviously, and I knew they were all pretty average. But I guess it all worked out alright. :3

Same here. During the AP World there are two hours to write the essays, and when everybody was already writing their DBQs, I was still planning mine out. The proctor came over to me and told me that I was supposed to be writing in the essay booklet (I was scribbling in the margins of the document booklet) and when I told her I wasn't ready to write the essay yet she gave me this awful look. So I kinda started freaking out and could barely read the words of the documents anymore so I started writing without planning anything out, which was a total mistake. By the end of the essay I was cracking up because I couldn't bring myself to care anymore, I guess. I ended up with like twenty minutes to spare after finishing all the essays.

message 27: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I'm kind of upset my school doesn't offer AP classes. I feel like I'm being robbed of something. All the other schools in other towns near mine offer them. Maybe it's because there's only 600-something kids at my school. :P

message 28: by Colby (new)

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments My school had less than 500. I think it could have something to do with money, I don't know how your district is.

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments there are only like 100 in mine. XD

I got a 5 on my test because I am really good at bullshitting.
I decided to just study all year and do well in he class and then just... Not really study for the test that much. I guess it worked?

Sam~~ we cannot see the moon, and yet the waves still rise~~ | 3061 comments woohoo maria that's awesome! :D

message 32: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I've found if I study for tests I actually do worse. And that is why I can't stand teachers who force you to study.

That was AP Music Theory for me. That's the only way you can take that test -- winging it with what your semi-trained gut tells you and hoping it's right. :P

Which test did you take?
