Brandon Dunn | 40 comments Always looming when your reading king, some mention of highways or mid-land is inevitable.

Now though anything by Joe Hill may also have ties to the tower, and Roland's gang.

Minor spoilers for nos4a2 ahead

I didn't think much of it when Judas Coynes band came in the radio in horns, but in NOS4A2, mid-land is mentioned, as is the highways to travel to these worlds. Then the GPS map that included the treehouse of the mind from horns, lovecraft from Locke and key, and more nuggets of cool nods, kinda surprised me. Anyone else as surprised as I was??

Casey | 654 comments I'm just not a fan of Hill. His writing is subpar and often too clunky to render a story smooth. I wish Hill would stay out of mid-land. He should go and play in his own sandbox.

Sandi (sandikal) | 1212 comments Did you notice that one of the minor characters was listening to the Cloud Atlas Sextet by Robert Frobisher?

I haven't read a lot of Stephen King, so I'm sure I am missing a lot of the references.
