Hello everybody,I am Susanne and I am living in Germany. I have been an avid reader since childhood and so I read nearly everything I love mysteries and thrillers. These days I mostly read ebooks, but paper hasn't been thrown out.
In germany I am running a blog featuring free and bargain english books for German readers. And at the moment I am helping some German authors who had their books translated into english with finding reviewers and promoting their books.
Looking forward knowing you all!
Susanne
Welcome to the group, Susanne. I lived in Germany twice, once in the Schwarzwald, the second time in Ramstein. Lovely country. I hope you enjoy the group.
Hi Susanne, welcome to the group. I lived in Germany during the 1990's and books in English were scarce and expensive. My goal was to read German well enough to read for enjoyment but I was never able to do that. Your blog would have been useful to me then.
Welcome all newcomers to the group!:)
Hi Dena, yes, I remember those times. It is much better now, even small town bookshops have a reasonable and affordable selection of english books.
Susanne wrote: "Hi Bill, thank you. Ramstein... Ramstein Air Base?"Yes, Ramstein Air Base, I was stationed there, working with the USAF in Europe. Most enjoyable time.
Hi . I have just joined this group. I am from Scotland. I am currently reading new Nicci French book 'Waiting for Wednesday' Just finished Peter James 'Not dead yet'
Welcome, Christie. I've a number of Peter James' books on my shelf waiting for me to try them. I'm looking forward to it.

I'd be happy to answer questions regarding media procedure. In my writers critique group I get many questions in that regard and assume there are a few writers in the ranks here. I'm a newspaper shooter, but work alongside the TV folk so if I don't know the answer, I know many who will.
So, hello to all.
