Nattles | 7 comments A few years ago I read a series where the main male characters have been experimented on and have developed different abilities.

They become a team and each story has them finding their mates who also have various abilities.

I can't remember if the females had been experimented on as well.

I vaguely recall one of the books being set in New Orleans.

I think the fort of abilities they have are telepathy, fire manipulation.

I'm not sure if one of the characters names was ghost.

Any ideas? This series could be 10 years old or more.

CJ Sounds like Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker series.

Drea I agree about it being one of Christine Feehan's Ghostwalkers. I think that it might be Night Game.

Nattles | 7 comments Thanks it's the Christine Feehan series.

There was also a similar series which in the first book the heros are in Las Vegas for some downtime and one of them rescues the heroine and takes her back to their compound.

I think that the hero may have been a shifter.

Leandra Azer (azerjaban) | 68 comments Maybe Marjorie M Liu? I know her PNR stories feature shifters being experimented on by a group called the Consortium

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments I think you might be thinking about The Legend of Michael by Lisa Renee Jones. I believe it's set in Las Vegas and near Area 51.

Theresa (gimptrip) | 4 comments Perhaps Laurann Dohner's New Species?
