Peaceful peace you will find very nice and human feelings of a dog in this wonderful story and maybe will cry for this dog! I think the writter was so creative and intelligent because he humanized a dog to impress us.

Shahryar Shalchi I think sage velgard is a book about human freedom that is restricted by every one.
it is a poor animal but with a human face and in the end we all ask ourselves how cruel is mankind.yes we are cruel with eachother even a poor animal.

Cyrus I really like this book, but I like first story of this collection (rahem?) and "Takht-e Abou-nasr" better. Sag-e Velgard is a bit more sentimental to me. Sure, you can affect people; by irritate their human weaknesses, such as sympathy to a poor, skinny, sick dog, but to me, it’s not creation.
