Me: *laughs* A ship name. A simpler way of calling you and your significant other by combining your names. A ship name would refer to you both as a couple. I named yours Mayday because it sounded cool.
Thursday: *slowly* You named a "ship" Mayday . That is a terrible omen. That means you expect your metaphorical ship to sink.
