David lunged at her around her knife and aimed his spear at her arm.

She stepped to the side and ducked so he missed her and she jabbed at his legs
He undercut her and caught the flat of her blade on his spear. He twisted the knife out of her hand.
Brenna took several steps back and ran for her knife
David blocked her with his spear and kicked the knife away.
Brenna grabbed his spear wrist and twisted it tying to make him drop his spear
David twisted out of her grasp and stabbed her in the side.
Brenna winced but ignored the pain and tackled him.

Brenna winced and held her side. She glared at him.
David shrugged. "You could have said you didn't want to fight me."
She stood up and winced she walked over to her knife hoping he wouldn't notice "but I did want to fight you" she said
David grinned and intercepted her. "I am very observant, Brenna."
((sorry, I found a puppy and had to return it to its people)) brenna cursed. She held her side and glared at him "fine you win" she said
David sighed. "I know that as soon as I let you pass you'll grab your knife and stab me. You aren't a very good liar."
She winced again "whatever" she staggered off to find some bandages or something
David dropped his spear and lifted her into his arms. He walked her over to the bag of supplies. At her questioning look, he shrugged. "You don't seem like you want to walk yourself."
She winced again "I can walk fine" she said but let him help her
David pulled some gauze out of the bag and set her down so she could wrap herself up.
She lifted up her shirt a little bit and wrapped herself with Bandages
David winced at the sight of her injury. "Did I really get you that bad?"

@EmmaDavid shook his head at her lie. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to really get hurt."
((I think that we should let Kassi have a say in this! And what makes you think that my answer changes for you? I think that we either need to start this quest over with somebody new, or we need to RP Brenna ourselves.))

David looked at her skeptically. "Fine," he admitted. He turned to Kassi. "Well, when should we start?"

"Yeah. We need to go to Olympus. I have a backpack that the Hestia kids charmed. We have three Camp plates and cups, nectar and ambrosia, a couple swords, bows, arrows, daggers, just in case. And plenty of other stuff we'll need." Kassi said. "Am I ranting?"

"Erm..." David looked at his feet. "I have a way..."
Kassi perked up. "What is it?"
David began to blush. "Nevermind... It's really stupid..."
"Come on. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?" Kassi begged, her charmspeak rolling over him.
"Ack! Stop that!" David's eyes glazed over. "Yes, ma'am. There is this thing I can do, since I am a son of Iris. It's sort of like shadow travel, but through light, instead of dark. I've only ever done it once before, but I am pretty sure I can do it again with you guys."David still couldn't control what he was saying when he added, "You are beautiful, Kassi."
Kassi blushed. She had been had been told that many times, and she knew the whole daughter of Aphrodite thing was what made her beautiful, but those words felt different coming out of his mouth. "Ahhh...thank you."
Brenna laughed. It was super awkward.
Kassi smiled at David. "Do you mean that or is it just crazy talking?"

David's eyes went back to normal, and his face flushed bright red. "Erm... Tell me I didn't just say that out loud. Even if you are lying, just tell me that I didn't."

Kassi smiled, "Thank you, David. That was sweet."

Kassi smiled and shook her head. "Let's just get to Olympus."
