Luna Belle Pris I don't know how long it took me, but it took well over three months, and I'm a fast reader. But this book was like slow torture to me. Just my opinion.

Tash Dahling It took me weeks to get as far as I did, and I still never finished it. Unheard of!!!!!

Nicole It took me four days, but honestly I speed read it. I skimmed a lot of parts.I hate when books take too long to read.I thought it was going to get better, but sadly no.

chinami It took me 6 to 7 hours. I love this book too much.

message 5: by Dee (new) - rated it 2 stars

Dee Never really got this book, it didn't take me too long but I still can't figure out what the attraction is to this book. Not a recommendation.

Gerd About four days.
Wish it could have lasted longer, I guess I'll have to do a re-read soon because I miss it. :)

Natali I read it in less than a day :)

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

I didn't want it to end, so I took my time and plan on reading it again.

Kathleen Varn I picked it up on a liveaboard dive trip... had no idea what it was about. I couldn't put it down between dives. I was missing the characters when I finished it. I probably read it in less than 10 hours within a couple days and completely followed the time line switch ups. Between author and editor... good job.

message 10: by Bird (new) - rated it 5 stars

Bird I read it in one week, how many hours that is I don't know :P

Melissa Probably a week to two weeks. I thought it was brilliant.

Paige It took me a week and one day. I thought it would have taken me a longer period of time.

Andra Watkins I think it took me 3 or 4 days. For me, the book was very predictable, though I did enjoy some of the pretty writing. I could really see some of the worlds she built, shimmering in front of me.

message 14: by Mary (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mary I think it took about a week. I really loved this story

Katiem Forever! I think the only book that has taken me longer was Game of Thrones! The cover is pretty, that's the only recommendation I can give.

message 16: by Mia (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mia R I read it in less than a day. It was beautiful. It drew me in and made me completely forget about my surroundings as I was reading it. Which is good, because I was outside a barn in the middle of August while my cousin was bathing chickens. This book is honestly the only thing that could make time fly in that kind of a situation!

Vivian It actually took me a week, mostly because I was busy with school so I didn't read it for 4 days. In total I'd say around 5-6 hours. It was amazing!

Heather It took me over 2 weeks to read and I did not like it.

Debbie I loved this book. I thought it was amazing. I was sad when I finished it

Diane It took me about 3 "sessions" reading every chance I could, even during work. I thought it was one of the best stories I've read in a long time. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great read.

Piret It took me 5-6 hours with some gaps for food and phone calls in between. It was addictive!

message 22: by Vari (new) - rated it 5 stars

*BookAddict* Vari It took me 3 days but only because I had to stop to get errans done. But loved the book, very different.

Genevieve Chiola I don't understand how it is possible that some people didn't like this book. It is amazing. I read it super fast.

Gracie Commia two days, if you count the time it took to reread my favorite parts

All I remember was wishing I could magically be done with it. I was expecting so much more than what I got from the blurb.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

This one took me about a week and a half. I kept wanting to read other things, and for me the book didn't emotionally connect with me. I did like the pretty cover and writing, but it needed more action.

Janis Loved it...read it in 5 days.

message 28: by Joy (new) - rated it 5 stars

Joy A few days! Loved this book. I think it is very special. Went into the read with no expectations, and found that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Very satisfied. Have even given it as a gift.

Jenna It took me a week to finish!

Clémence It took me 3 weeks and 5 days to finish it. -.-

Worth the read though!

Zipporah I also read it in about a week. I was laid up with a broken foot and was happy to have this book get me through the pain and boredom. I thought it was fantastic!

Goshgirl It took me a few months to get as far as I did. It was torturous. I never finished it in the end.

message 33: by Allie (new) - added it

Allie It took me about three days to finish it. Although it didn't looks like a beach read, I was wanting to read it for a while so it came to the beach with me! I loved this book and definitely have to read it again as I feel that I missed a lot!

Debbie I loved this book and it only took me 3 or 4 days to read. I hated having it end, and I plan or reading it again

message 35: by Amber (new) - rated it 1 star

Amber Nicole Windsor months! I read eight other books before I could finish this I've! Ehhh...I don't want to relive those days ha

Willow27 About a week. I kept losing track of WHEN things were happening. I had to stop reading and skim back through the book to keep track of all the dates!

Sarah I don't recall, but this is one if the most delightful books I've read. I wish I could find more like it.

Viviana 16 days, didn't read everyday though...

guiltlessreader a few days ...

Sarah Katherine Not 100% certain but more than a week, less than 2 weeks. I enjoyed it!

Rondie Lopezz This book captivated me by page 20, I read in two days. Magical read...

Lynn G. Laura Pris wrote: "I don't know how long it took me, but it took well over three months, and I'm a fast reader. But this book was like slow torture to me. Just my opinion."

I couldn't agree more with your assessment. This book sits in the top position of my least favorite books of all time. :/

Megan It started out slow. I didn't really get what was happening at first but then as I got into the story, it took me 4 days.

Victoria I read it in one afternoon. I loved it!

message 45: by K. (new) - added it

K. Velk I abandoned ship about 1/4 of the way through. I felt a little sorry for the author, a first-timer as a I recall, as the book was wildly overhyped when it was released and my expectations were not realistic. (I remember reading somewhere that the publisher was counting on it to fill the void left in sales by the end of the Harry Potter cycle).

Pogue It took about 5 hours.

Niren Tuladhar It took about 4 days.

Michael Keenan I started it the second it arrived on my doorstep from Amazon, and read straight through without stopping. Maybe 6 hours total. Amazing book.

message 49: by Dawn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Dawn One week. From a Friday to a Friday.

Sephora It took me a good three days, because I had a lot of projects due for school that week.

I want to re-read this book again and again and again, but I actually want to take longer to read it because I want to pay attention to every detail!
