Those are different enough that I wouldn't merge unless the author requested it (and specified which version to keep).

Hello,I'm sorry for the bother and the process I did might sounds stupid.
Anyway, I've decided to remove my middle initial in my Author name so I went and change the Authou's name in two of my published books but now they are gone from my original profile:

and I can't edit my author profile.
Please help!
I don't want to lost my GR friends and all I want is to have an Author profile with no middle initial and all my books listed there.

I separated out all the ones on which he is not the primary author. There is no way to magically do that for those on which he is not secondary; someone will have to edit each of those manually. The catch-all author is the one-space one.
So how is the best way to combine te books on these two profiles? One is a goodreads author and the other is another name for her.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

A link can be added to the bio of the unclaimed profile to the other, and any book that was published under both names should have as primary for all editions the name under which it was published.

This Goodreads author has a name in Arabic and an approximate translation of that name in her profile namehttp://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
The translation is something like "The flicker of hope". Her books have "Wameed Amal". I couldn't remember the rules about this sort of thing.

There is no profile for an "A.L. Butcher"

After having pulled the WRONG CS Lewis for a quote correction request, I thought I'd see if I could get it cleaned up. CS Lewis has not profile information, not books, and 4 quotes.
C.S. Lewis is the CORRECT author link with all the books and 66 pages of quotes.
I have also seen C.S Lewis as well with one book (in french)four quotes, and no profile information.
I'm guessing the two erroneous author profiles can just be deleted.
