Nihar Suthar (niharsuthar) | 383 comments Hey guys! Huge breakthrough today! I will be giving a copy of my book to the Vice President of medical company B. Braun. He's big on motivating his employees and he wanted to donate to charity at the same time, which is perfect because my book is inspirational and most profits are going to the Acumen fund, an international charity investing in solutions to combat global poverty! He also said that if he likes the book, he would buy one for each of his employees, which would be AMAZING to get my mission out there!

So how was I able to get this? The tip I can provide to get great publicity is to post GENERAL content REGULARLY on your social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). With the organization page that my book is being sold through, instead of just creating posts about my book, we post a general daily motivational picture and message. At the bottom of the post though, we include a link to the my book if people are interested in more. People often love the daily motivation and share it with their friends and family. The best thing is that out of curiosity, they also click on my book's link at the bottom, which leads to more buys and more people supporting my cause so I can donate more money! If you get a chance, definitely try posting daily general content that all audiences would be interested in. Don't make it all about your book, but incorporate your book link into the bottom of the post. You can see what we do with our daily posts and marketing on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/hypeupyourday

It definitely leads to big time success. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Also, my book is available here in ebook for only $3 or paperback for $8 if anyone wants to support :)

Richard Knight (riknight36) | 41 comments You're right. The one thing I can't stand is when people just lead in and say they've written a book. So many people do it, that I usually don't even look at the book at all. But I DID check out your book. That's a smart approach. Make the people trust you first and then talk about your book. Nice. Thanks for the tip. I think I'll use it. Good stuff.

F.F. McCulligan | 64 comments That's the way, uh huh, uh huh I like it. I think we're all hounded enough in our daily lives with people trying to sell us something. I have decided I really just want my readers to come to me. I try to put my message out there enough that people have some idea that it exists, but I don't want to hound anyone.

Heidi Peltier | 71 comments SO I'm trying this out. It's not as simple when it's not an inspirational book. Can you give me your thoughts? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...

Nihar Suthar (niharsuthar) | 383 comments Glad you guys all like the technique! It's really helped my book sales a lot and I've been able to donate a lot to the Acumen fund.

Heidi, I think that's a great start! Maybe you can add some more interesting information about novels in general or benefits of reading a novel to your page? Looking forward to hearing from you all!
