RISING OF A DEAD MOON is receiving a lot of interest. An Indian widow's tragedy.Currently the July group read for The F-word group.
I highly recommend The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson. Just finished Gone Girl recently which I also recommend. These are two fantastic books.
One of my favorites that I would love to read again soon is Up In FlamesI'd also like to read Crash and Looking for Alaska. Or any other books by John Green
Cassandra,Have you read any of John Green's books? My favorite by far is the fault in our stars. I also enjoyed paper towns and looking for Alaska. I read an abundance of katherines but I was disappointed by it.
Allye, I just finished The fault in Our Stars the other day. I loved it! I'm excited to read his other books. I've just ordered Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns on amazon today.
I'm releasing a novel called Dawn of the Apocalypse on the ninth of August. You can read about it here: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...And I would love to give away some e-copies to my fellow members.
Following Atticus by Tom Ryan is a non fiction book about connecting to nature, reuniting with a father and family and finding wholeness and empathy with the help of a 20 pound Schnauzer. I have read many of the books mentioned above plus about 3,000 others and none moved me as much as Ryan's book. This novel is not about zombies, deviousness, crime, or porn. It is about heart, real love, and the essence of what is is to be a humane human. Check out his Facebook page and blog to see what a wonderful person he is and what a marvelous book he has written
Nominating I, the Provocateur
... do not take my word - read what the others are saying about it. I would be willing to join any discussion that takes place about the novel. Thank you in advance and happy reading!
I am planning to read The 5th Wave
and The Light Between Oceans
in August. I'd love to discuss either as a group read!

I am just reading the memoirs of geisha.. real good. I would recommend Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt for August read.. it's fantastic
Peeps by Scott Westerfeld!!!! I just finished it, but it's not for the light of stomach. Losts of talk about parasites. eww
I'd like to recommend In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters or The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze.
i'd like to recommend Me, Cinderella by Aubrey Rose. this is a great book with a touch of fairy tale in modern day. i finished this book in one sitting. the little girl in me glee at the fairy tale.
gone girl or the light between oceans look good. I've read looking for Alaska and its a good read,I read it about 3 years ago.
im going to start Matched soon because im almost finished with house of night series (which is really good). under the never sky and divergent are also amazing books!
SHADOW FALLS by c.c brooks is another book that is a lot like house of night if that's what you are looking for
I don't like that series keep being selected as BOTM selections. I again will vote for Room or The Casual Vacancy.
I think Anna and the French Kiss is a nice book, if you're looking for a fun read that will just make you feel happy, so I throw this suggestion out there :D Also Every Day and Across the Universe are awesome.
Room by Emma Donoghue? I feel that more people should read her work! She's on goodreads too by the way.
I'm loving Georgetown Academy-- this would be the perfect BOTM for August! Perfect "can't put it down" beach read!!Georgetown Academy: Season One
I second Georgetown Academy-- awesome series-- it originally came out as four separate books but now they have the one called Season One that has all the books in one.

The Fault in Our Stars was amazing! I put it off for a long time because it just didn't seem like something I would like, but I loved it!

I am currently reading The Light Between Oceans, about half way through it. This is a really good book.
just saw the author of Georgetown Academy: Season One on E! News-- it was named one of the top 3 summer beach reads :)
