At this point in the book I began to realize that all the characters are related in some way, and that all their stories intertwine. I'm finding it difficult to figure out the setting of each particular story as it is not blatantly shared so I am often getting confused as to the relationships between people, the time, and the locations.

Sasha and Bennie seem to be the point of reference people by this time in the book. Bennie's wife seems interesting. We know from earlier in the book that they get divorced so it is interesting to get this past glimpse into their married life together, and perhaps see some of the pieces that made their marriage fall apart.

The Kitty Jackson stories sort of irritate me. I don't really like her as a character, but I don't like the people she is associated with in the stories either, like Jules Jones and Stephanie Salzar (nee Jones). Maybe it's partially because I personally can't stand celebrity culture and also fake people! While Jules seems "real" he obviously perpetuates celebrity culture, and let's face it, is a huge creep. Stephanie is really fake to me and also is perpetuating celebrity culture in her job as a publicist. IDK, I just am not in love with these characters. Kitty makes me want to gag. She cares so much about rectifying her popularity in celebrity culture that she agrees to fake date a mass murderer? Oy!!
