Finally, a well written book about today's Rwanda that does not get bogged down in the horror of the genocide, though it certainly acknowledges the terrible loss of life that occurred and the destruction of so many families and communities.
This tells the story of one positive development since 1994, the rebirth of the Tour de Rwanda, and the development of a team of Rwandan bicycle racers. The people involved are to be admired and applauded. Let's hope that we see and hear more stories like this.
