Do you think instead of asking a kindle edition to be added so that I can quickly click "switch to this edition" and just be done with it in a one click-step-- that it would be better for me to just manually add the kindle edition, come back here to make another request to get that new edition combined with the other editions, wait however many hours that request will take to get editions combined (this request has taken 18+ hours), then go to "my books", then "find duplicates," pop-open browser tabs for the duplicate editions of this book now on my shelves to see which is one I want to keep and then delete one edition?
I'm not being snarky. It's not a problem for me to manually add the kindle edition. But I cannot combine editions which defeats the purpose for me of the kindle edition being added.
If there's any issue with the kindle edition data on amazon, I can provide additional data from the copy on my kindle, the publisher website, or the author posts. Just let me know.

"Please add" threads with two posts are often assumed to have been responded to.

It's not in there. But, personally I give higher priority to threads with only one post, and (as rivka stated) think that threads with two or three posts have requests that have been responded to.
Thanks!
