I really liked Jayden as a character, and I was shocked when he suddenly died at the end and was quickly forgotten. I think he could have been an interesting character in the next book. I would have liked to see him survive.

I started off thinking that Jayden would've been a much better boyfriend for Kira than Marcus, but then came along Samm. I was still debating whether Kira would stick with Marcus or go for Samm or Jayden, and then when Jayden suddenly died SAVING KIRA, I was crushing myself!!! Then, I realized that Kira would be better off with Samm. But the ending didn't really state that she broke up with Marcus, though it kind of seemed that way, so I'm confused right now...

I agree! But after a little I realized that it would be weird if Kira wet out with Jayden because that's her adopted sisters brother. Weird O.o
Anyway, Marcus wasn't really ever there. It is clear to me at least that Samm is WAY better.

I think it was kind of necessary. I really liked Jayden, but with everyone else dying left and right, it wouldn't be realistic if none of her friends died. Right before he died, I was thinking, "seriously, everyone around them has died, how are they all still alive?" If it wasn't Jayden it would have had to have been one of her other friends.

i was actually surprised that he didn't make it to the end, given that there was such a point made that he and Madison were the only 2 living blood relatives (that anyone knew of). i was wondering if there was going to be a story line there about why they were both immune...but i guess not

waii what....nooooo...he dies....nooo. i loved jayden hes so surly and handsome and cute...i havent met samm yet as a chsracter although im guessing hes the partials they captured...marcus is sweet too...
