OMG this series is just perf! I can't even :D

Lovekitty | 15 comments I wasn't very impressed. I mean, this first installment is intriguing enough to continue on in the series, and the second novel does sound good, but I wasn't really taken by The Maze Runner.

Linsey | 2 comments I really want to read this book! The movie adaptation also looks really good. :)

Kristina (heavensmommy2004) | 104 comments Im not sure how anyone could not like these books, they are amazing. There is non stop action. You will have to make yourself put them down to go to sleep, work etc..... I swear WICKED is good.

Monise Tua (monise_tua) | 8 comments I really loved this book! I thought that the best thing the book had were the ending to each chapter. It always had a sentence that got you clinging onto your seat and it just kept you reading non-stop.

The movie although seemed to be a let down. It wasn't as entertaining as the book even though only a few things were left out. The book seemed better also because it showed the thoughts and feelings of Thomas and you also saw the telepathic connections with Teresa.

Lauren | 4 comments I hated this series so much. Yes, I read the whole thing, hoping it would redeem itself (if not in the writing, then at least in the storyline) - but no. It didn't. Terrible ending, terrible beginning, terrible made up words that are just stupid. I mean, I am a huge reader and can find enjoyment in most books I pick up, but I am also an English major and writing minor and I just can't stand poor writing. And that's what this was. Utter crap.

Natalia (greenmist) | 7 comments I read the Maze Runner and half of Scorch Trials but I couldn't bring myself to care enough to continue. I hate the author's writing. I found it bland and irritating, just like the characters.

message 108: by Carla (new) - rated it 4 stars

Carla (simplycarla) | 6 comments Read the entire series. I enjoyed all but the last as it did not tie up anything really. The author is releasing a new prequel next year to explain the maze. I will most likely check it out.

Lauraeimre | 49 comments I started first book 2 years ago but I never finished it. Then a year later I picked it up again and I actually enjoyed it :)
Now I have finished the series and I think it was quite interesting. But I think ( my opinion) you don't miss anything big when you don't read this series .

Meghan (moorebooksplease) | 51 comments hours of my life i will never get back. I was into it and then I read book 2 and it just ticked me right off. I struggled through and read like a chapter into book 3 and chucked it across the room.

this one was SO not for me. I don't like to feel like the author is writing an "oh, just kidding...oh, just kidding again" type deal.

Same for me...I wanted to like it, but it just didn't happen.

Skydreamer Lee | 61 comments I loved it!!!! Just what I want from dystopian novels: action, action, more action; suspense, deep friendships, amazingly human characters, betrayal. The only element that I want more from this book is emotion and romance, which it lacked a little. But then I was pretty disappointed by the ending (view spoiler) and the character naming. There are so much empowering women out there, and James Dashner doesn't name any of Group B's girls after them?? It just sounds like James doesn't bother to search for them. But still, I love this series. Can't wait for The Fever Code!!!

Kaitlyn I really enjoyed reading this series, although I didn't bother to read The Kill Order. My favourite characters were Newt and Minho and I found Teresa to be very annoying and irritating, especially as I got further into the series.

The movie adaptions to this series are okay, I'm not a big fan of them. Now a days I feel as though any book that does well people just want to make it into a movie...

message 114: by S. (new) - rated it 2 stars

S. Elizabeth (sellizabethdover) | 1 comments The thing I don't like about the books is that they really had a good plot idea but I felt that they didn't rise up to what they could have been. The slang is super forced and sounds unintuitive. The only character i really did connect with was Minho and thats about it. As I read the other books I felt that I was reading yet another bad zombie invasion book.

message 115: by Sophie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sophie Whittemore I enjoyed the imagination. Kind of sick of dystopia fiction though. Not going to lie.

Lisa | 31 comments I enjoyed reading the series. The characters had great personalities.

Alexis Super excited for the Fever Code! <3

i really enjoyed the maze runner series and am looking forward to the fever code

message 119: by Rells (new) - rated it 4 stars

Rells (gingerwolfie) The series kinda spiraled downward for me- which is so sad. I absolutely loved the maze runner, and then the scorch trials was like "ok we can fix this! i believe in you thomas!" and then death cure (did i get the title right???!!!) was just like "I give up!" and then kill order.... can someone explain how it connects besides the epilogue? cuz i was soon confused as to why it was there- was the little girl theresa?

message 120: by Joyce (new) - rated it 5 stars

Joyce | 6 comments Loved every single book in the series. Definitely my most favorite series. Dashner did amazing.

Staci | 19 comments AMAZING AND WONDERFUL

Alexa Ashryver (alexaashryver) | 13 comments The writing was nice but most of the main characters die. So not for me I suppose.
