So, the song c:
I can't stop listening to it now haha it's just soooo cute <3
I was thinking of something that's kind of like best friend thing?
Like, if you don't mind me playing the guy, my guy could the only one who gets or er, understands your girl?

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Hello! :D
I know it's adorable right?
My friend showed it to me, and we're both sort of like that in the sense that nobody really ever notices us.xD
I like that idea, how about maybe they were like, childhood friends but the social ladder got in the way as they moved up to high school, and whilst he became the jock, she was the shy library girl, but he never really stopped thinking about her. And since they drifted apart she's been sort of a loner?
How's that sound?
And I'm fine with you playing the guy.^-^

message 3: by Nommies (new)

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments Sounds good to me c:
Except, I do like the idea of him being all jockey, but could they still be like get friends and not so much drifted apart? Like maybe he tries to get her to interact with people a lot of the time because he knows how special she really is, but she's too freaked out by that idea so they had their own little secret relationship of friendship even though he could want something more or whatever?
Does that make sense? O.O
I'm listening to it now~ I just aweeee at it every time

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments c:
Sounds good. Maybe shes intimidated by him, so avoids him during school time. Possibly they could be next door neighbours and that's how they interact? Like, they could have a treehouse or whatever, something like that? Also, maybe there could be a reason behind her being so hesitant to talk to others, why shes so shy? I don't know what, but it could be something to consider?
And yeppers, I like that idea. ^-^
Same here.C:

message 5: by Nommies (new)

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments Oooooh, tree houses and next door neighbors are so cute cx let's do that
And maybe like, my guy is super into pushing her buttons or like tries hard to get her to open up? OH. What if they had like, little walkietakies from when they were little and he still uses them to get her to come over to the treehouse?
And yeah, the reason why she's quiet could be a home problem? Like maybe her parents don't let her get a word in or let her speak up so she just decides to stay quiet because what's the point? Just an idea though~
Yay, I'm excited c:
Oh and do you mind if we do simple charries? I tend to lose my inspiration if I make a detailed charrie these days :c

message 6: by Nommies (new)

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments And maybe like, when she finally has lovey dovey feelings for him, she eventually gets the courage to say something like this...

(view spoiler)

message 7: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments I know right? Just adorable.^-^
Yea, I like that, teases her a lot, but she just brushes it off, maybe it could make her smile that somebody wants her to open up, that somebody actually bothers about her that much?
Oh! I like that idea, that'd be super cute.C:
That'd be good, maybe she's neglected? Like, ignored, left to fend for herself, and then like, if she does try to speak up she just gets screamed at so she just shuts up?
Its a good idea.c:
Same here!
And again, same here, I've been making simple charries lately and its so much easier.^^

UM, 17-18 Yrs old okay with you?
And how should we start this thing? I'm not sure I want to start it with a school setting, maybe your girl just got screamed at or something and my guy was outside just messing around and hears it so he calls her over because he knows she wouldn't want to bother him with her problems or whatever? mayebeeeebebeee idunno idea spitttingggg

message 17: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments The door slamming was what made her flinch. The sharp rap of wood against wood as it knocked harshly against each other. Paisley Elizabeth Taylor had lived her whole life like this. Living in constant fear of her parents, melding into the background out of pure fear that maybe one day, someday, if she stepped out of line it would push them to the edge. And that they would do more than just shout and scream. It had happened once. If she was being truthful. And she still had scars to prove it so, physically and mentally. But that had only been the one time. And she didn't intend for it to ever happen again. She hurried over to her bed, throwing herself onto the worn out mattress and burying her head into the pillows, already the hot tears beginning to sting her eyes painfully as she stifled her sobs, knowing full well if she was heard then she'd just get into even more crap that she really didn't need, nor want. Instead Paise settled for simply curling her fingers around the thin covers that lay across her bed, bringing her knees up to her chest and sniffling quietly, peeking out to look over at her bed table. Her eyes landed on the beaten, word walki-talki that lie there before she simply shook her head at herself, rolling over to face the wall. She wouldn't want to burden Travis with her problems. He probably had worries of his own without her talking to him. Right?

((Sorreh its rubbishy. x.x))

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments (what. no. psh. it was beautiful cx )

Travis laid with his back on the wooden back-porch. The night was clear and starry and he couldn't help, but feel the need to be outside while he threw a baseball up in the air every so often. Sometimes he would make shapes out of the stars and imagine new worlds that were better than the messed up one people lived in on earth. He let out a soft exhale of slight contentment and you could see his breath in the air from the chill the leaving autumn weather fazing into the winter season. Most might have guessed he'd be out partying with the other guys on his team, but to be honest, he appreciated his alone time just as much as the next person. Well, there was an exception to this alone time. It was Paisley, his best friend. She somehow made everything better whether she knew it or not. And he guessed she didn't. He rolled over and closed his eyes with that thought, fighting the urge to look towards her window. He wasn't some creep, but god it was hard to not be with her sometimes.
Suddenly, he heard the all too familiar screaming against his back. His body jerked towards the direction of Paisley's house. Well, it seemed her parents were at it again. Couldn't they just shut the hell up? His brows pulled together in absolute frustration. It wasn't right. It didn't take long for him to be on his feet as he hopped on over to the grassy and climbed towards the rusty, almost broken down tree house him and Paise used to play in. Well, they still hung out in there, but it was usually when things like this happened. His hands gripped each bar of the ladder until he made his way to the top and spotted the walkie-talkie he'd used too many times for a guy his age.
A static like noise sounded as his thumb pressed down on the button. "Testing, testing, Paise, I'm trying to reach Paise," he muttered into the black object in an over the top radio voice.

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments ((Nah, not really.xD
Yours on the other hand, certainly was.^^"))

Paisley continued to stifle her cries, her cheeks wet with tears and stained from where she had, in fact, been bawling silently. She rubbed wearily at one eye, both being red rimmed and her face blotchy. Her body resembled the frame of a shaking dear, almost looking as if she could flyaway in the wind if the gust blew to strong. She found herself raking her hand through her hair, propping herself up in bed and fishing for her diary in her bedside cabinet, finding it under various junk after a few moments and throwing it onto the covers. The book often mad an appearance when she had recently been shouted at, or when she was feeling low. Both of which she currently felt. And so after fumbling for a pen for about a minute she unlocked the thing and flipped to the next free page, beginning to write at a furious pace before her attention was drawn away by a familar buzzing sound in her ear. She turned her pale green ocular to glance back at the walki-talki, looking down at her book before slamming it shut and shifting over to reach the thing, tuning it in and talking a few moments to speak. "Paise is reached. What do you want Trav?" Her voice was hushed, scared almost, but despite this it was thick with tears, a sure indicator for her best friend to know she had been crying. Paisley glanced at her diary, tucking a few stray strands of hair that had escaped her messy bun behind her ear idly, chewing on her bottom lip in something of a nervous manner as she awaited his reply.

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments (PSH. it was great c:
ahhh. I'm not so sure :/ but thanks! )

Travis' fingers itched on the worn out walkie-talkie as he waited for a reply. The whole situation upset him to no ends. Paise's parents thought they could push her around and keep her in the dark and they didn't realize how great of a daughter they had. The worst part was that Paise wasn't seeing that either. She obviously didn't see how truly happy he was to be around her. It put him at a sort of ease. With her at his side, he felt like he could take on the world. He jerked upwards from his laying position in the middle of the tree house as the buzzing noise sounded. Immediately his chest clenched because of her voice. He had been anticipating it from the first yell he heard, but that didn't make him anymore prepared for the anger that rush through him. Damn it, he wouldn't mind giving her dad a good blow to that gut of his. Letting his lip turn into a thin line, he got onto his feet and leaned on one wall. Though, he had to bend his back slightly because of his height. "I want a lot of things," he tried to say lightly with a smirk growing on his lips. "But what I want right now is you," he almost whispered. He wouldn't dive into this and ask her what the yelling was about this time. All he wanted was to put her at ease. She'd tell him if she wanted to, but he knew she sure as hell wouldn't take the initiative to let him make her feel better. "And I really hate not getting what I want," he continued before leaning his forehead against the wall and whispering in a light threat, "so get your butt over her or I wont hesitate to climb up to your window and drag you over."

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments She hated how she sounded so feeble, so shaky. Just so...So weak. Weakness wasn't a option for Paise. She had to stay strong, stay firm. But maybe that was one of her main problems. She refused to let herself go, let herself openly cry. Even now she was trying to stifle her crying, because, like weakness, crying wasn't an option. Crying was a sign of weakness. Therefore it had to be ruled out.  Tossed away. Similar to the way she rarely let her true emotions show. Because emotions led to heartache--she knew. Paise knew all to well. And she just wasn't up for accepting any more pain. She was drawn away from her thoughts as Travis' voice crackled over the walkie talkie, and despite her crappy mood the edges of her mouth lifted into a faint, barley there smile. "Well I'd hate for you to not get what you want..." she mused, her voice still thick from her crying jag. "I'll be there in a sec." she confirmed before setting the thing down and looking down at her current attire. Of which consisted of a pair of cotton pyjama shorts florally patterned and a thin camisol top a pale shade of pink. And to top the outfit off a pair of fluffy socks. Paise decided against putting a jacket on. It was usually warm in the treehouse anyway, and Trav would probably have his jersey in there anyway. Running her hand though her hair once, she jolted the window up and open, climbing out onto the room gingerly and edging her way down, moving to shimmy down the drainpipe until her sock-clad feet reached the ground. Paise made sure to be silent as she hurried across the lawn, quickly ascending the wooden ladder and pushing up the door which opened up into the treehouse, clambering inside and sliding back, eyes locking on Travis's as she sent him a small, yet sad smile. "Hey." she murmed, skin covered on goosebumps yet face still red from the tears that had recently been shed.

(So um...Hey.
I'm not sure if you want to continue this, and I totally understand if you don't. I'm not going to come up with any excuses because I don't have them, and I don't want to lie. Your post was perfect, it was just me being stupid and not replying.

Nommies (whoelse) | 1461 comments Travis let his thumb scroll over the dented up walkie-talkie as he awaited his reply. Now, he wasn't the type of guy to regularly get nervous over little things and for the most part, he found confidence easily. Although, it was a whole different game when it came to Paise. He didn't always know what to expect even though he felt like he knew the ins and outs of that girl. With the constant keeping to herself, he had to force himself not to push too far. It was like there was this thin line he could so easily snap if he wanted to and he didn't have any plans to have that happen. His jaw tensed in the slightest motion as that small, all too delightful voice came crumbling against his ear drum. Tears were behind her words and he was ready to hop down the ladder, drop the walkie-talkie and make his way to her window before carrying her over. Damn, this was not supposed to be something he should be focusing on. And yet, the idea of Paise's body pressed against his and then the feeling of her soft hair against his fingers-stop.
A soft chuckle left his lips and blew into the toy at her response. "See you," he replied and he lifted his finger from the button. With an all too relieved sigh, Travis was glad to know Paisely was only a few mare moments away from his grasp. Maybe he was feeling a little over protective or whatever, but what the hell right? He didn't give a single damn because he knew all too well that his best friend was hurting. Trying to relax, his upper arm slipped up off the wall of the tree house the second that small voice hit his ears again. "Ah, damn it," he grumbled mostly to himself when he saw the clear red against her eyes even in the dim lighting. He went ahead and wordlessly grabbed an old worn out sweatshirt of his before stepping towards her and wrapping the piece of clothing around her shoulders. "Hey," he murmured with a gentle tone. The large palms of his hands slipped across her upper arms as he rubbed them in a soft motion to warm her up. For reasons unknown, he always had warmth in hands. Cautiously, his eyes searched over hers until they stuck. "You wanna talk about or not?" he asked out of respect and seconds later, he could no longer contain himself from gliding his hand down to her back and pulling her small frame into his chest.

(arg Im sorry Ive beeen uber busy and i had to put roleplaying on hold for a bit :c unfortunately, I don't think this post is enough of an apology ;A; ))

message 29: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments (Its totally fine! And your post was absolutely beautiful. I apologize in advance if mine isn't as long.D: :O)

She found herself now thankful for the socks she had one. She always seemed to forget how cold the treehouse could really get. Even in the summer months she could now recall how bitter it was in the night. She didn't inform Travis, but some nights, when she was feeling completely and utterly...Sad. She'd come out to the place and spend the night. It made her feel closer to Trav, and although she knew that he was there if she needed him, she hated, absolutely hated to be a bother. So Paise did what she did best. She bottled it up and set it aside. The thing was, there was only so much of that you could do before you had a breakdown. However, so far she'd remained strong. Apart from a few crying jags of course. But we'll set them aside for now.
She felt the warmth of his jumper wrap around her upper shoulders, and if she had had the energy--Which she didn't--She'd have probably tried to slip her arms into the arm holes. Yet she didn't. For now though, she simply let his hands--those calm soothing hands that she knew wouldn't harm her--she let them rub against her arms, up and down. Paise remained silent at his question, and only moments later felt him tug her to him, and then her face was buried in his chest and slowly, but surely she was breaking. After only a moment or so she was returning the hug, her small, slender figure wracked with a few sobs that she made a desperate attempt to stifle. She managed to calm herself within a few minutes, although her breathing was still shaky and she made no attempt to move away from him. She liked his grasp. It made her feel warm, safe, it felt like home. And maybe, just maybe if she tilted her head back, pressed her lips against his and-No. Her and Trav were friends. Only friends. Lately she'd been having to remind herself of that a lot. "I spilt the water out of the kettle." She mumbled, pushing those confused feelings aside. It was heavy, and I couldn't hold it and the boiling water went everywhere." She continued. She herself had gotten the brunt of the spill, and her forearms still throbbed from where the water had seared her. Not that she was about to mention that they hurt. It would just worry Trav more she she didn't want him to have to worry.
