i can't remember the name of the book

she falls off a bridge, drowns and is taken over by a reincarnated egyptian, wakes up in the hospital and late is attacked by another reincarnated egyptian who has used a boy with downs syndrome for his bod, and saved by two other egyptians, one ramesses, they think she is their queen. her brother, who is a police officer, also dies and is taken over. there are gargoyles who come alive and djinn. Ramesses III and Cleopatra are in the book, also there is mention of a high priestess.

not sure but could be part of a series.
