Jonathan Mette | 2 comments I read this old Sci Fi book back in high school. A small colony of people were on a ship traveling through space for a lot longer than intended. The original inhabitants' descendants grew up with no concept of there being anything outside of the ship and any contrary thoughts were met with Inquisition levels of zeal. There are mutated humans as well. The main character (a guy) begins to question existence aboard the ship and joins up with a few other people (including a two-headed mutant) to uncover the truth. It's discovered that the ship is in really bad shape and will likely soon begin falling apart/failing so the main character and the others try to figure out a way to get off the ship.

Help please?

Btw, you can move this to the SOLVED folder, by editing the title of this post. We like to keep the finished/archived versions in the solved folder, so the next person who's googling for your answer can automatically get it :)

Yeah, this is a classic question - totally is in our archives a couple places. 3 views to solve though, so I guess everyone else is asleep...

Congrats tho Jonathan. This was an easy ID. I'll move it down to Solved and add this thread to the others.

Justanotherbiblophile | 1814 comments No big deal Jonathan.

I mean, I'm not sure we've made it a requirement that all requesters do due diligence. It's nice when people can solve their own problems, but then what would we do (well, besides read more books)?

Just curious, did you do a search (google, on the site, or otherwise) for this book? ie: did it not show up somehow (or did you not really look)?

And if you did search, what terms did you search on? (ie: let's include those terms so next time it'll come up for someone who is searching).
