As the small band of warriors and prophets begin this quest to recover the lost relic, they cross into hostile lands and into the cities of their enemies. On their journey, they must battle mortal enemies, both human and beast, who will stop at nothing to destroy them. And they discover who they can trust among humans and gods.
Chaos creeps into the sky realm and the underworld as gods use their powers over the domain of humans. But visions of the prophets are not set and the immortal gods have as much to fear as humans about their future. Shifting alliances and treacherous cronies bring the boundaries of the three realms in peril as all seek to find the Shield of Skool.
