T.J. Ah, well, I am not too fond of being spied on. After all, why would they want to? To tell kids not to look at inappropriate photos? That's not their job. To read private emails to gather "helpful" information? That's not their job.
I do not like the thought of being traced, "supervised," spied on, and watched. It is unconstitutional, it is a violation of privacy, and some of us go to the internet to escape the world, not to be spied on by it.

But I agree with both of you."

Very true, Elevetha. This is nothing new.

My mom wouldn't supervise me. She trusts me to be responsible with what I am doing on the internet. She did have some kind of parental lock on it for a while, but I couldn't even get on the websites that I order shoes from >:( So she took it off. Lol

Anyway, I don't think that people should have to have somebody RIGHT THERE monitoring their every move on the internet. Maybe checking in once and a while but not the whole time.

Also, I think the government should keep their nose OUT OF EVERYBODY'S BUSINESS. There's no reason for them to keep track of my personal emails and such >:(

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments My parents wouldn't supervise me, maybe when I was smaller and more naive and likely to get into trouble on the internet.

As for the government we know thanks to Edward Snowden who has featured in the news a lot and revealed that in the USA and the UK the government does spy on us, reports of GCHQ tapping into the fiber-optic network and spying on us. They claim its to "look out for terror suspects and plots" which yes I agree is good to know before so it can be stopped, but spying on everyone even children at schools I think that is pointless. They wont stop either. It is like when you are small and your friend tells you if you type "How to make a bomb2 or "the anarchists cookbook" into google the CIA will spy on you, it is probably true. They shouldn't do it unless they have evidence and the person is a suspect in a case.
