Kelly Hull (kellyvan) | 50 comments I agree with Delirium and Divergent, haven't read the others. I also like Fire Country by David Estes and obviously Hunger Games if you haven't read it. The Life as we Knew it series is pretty good too. Life As We Knew It

Have you read the mortal instruments series? If not, you should definitely try it! It's amazing :)

message 8: by Sydney (new)

Sydney I would suggest Enclave, The Darkest Minds, and Maximum Ride. I read Maximum Ride a while ago, when I was younger, but it is still a great read.

There are quite a few.

Good Dystopias:
Defiance (Defiance, #1) by C.J. Redwine Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie
Good Paranormal:
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead Wake (Watersong #1) by Amanda Hocking
Good Post-Apocalyptic:

Partials (Partials, #1) by Dan Wells

Sorry I could only give a few at the moment!

Cecilia (csimas) I love many of the ones they've already said. Also: The Raven Boys, Under the Never Sky, The 5th Wave, White Cat, Beautiful Creatures, and Graceling.

message 11: by Em (new)

Em | 3 comments The Premonition Series is brilliant (Amy Bartol) and begins with Inescapable. It's a paranormal romance caught between YA and NA but it is one of my favourites.
Oh and I definitely second Delirium - I love that!

Trina | 24 comments I've just done 2 read for reviews & loved them both so much they ended up on my favourite list so I deffo recommend them!

The 1st Our Souls to Keep (Our Souls to Keep, #1) by Gary A. Caruso
is an amazing paranormal about a soul collecting demon named Wake who gave his soul to satan in exchange to save his mothers, when sent on a mission for a pregnant girls soul & that of her unborn baby Wake must choose between protecting his mother's soul or that of a girl & her baby!

The 2nd Jaxon Prayer by Rachel West
is one of the best dystopian novels I've read so far, Evie was born in the slums, her mothers dead, her younger sister was imprisoned years ago & she has had to care for herself. Then she meets Jaxon, a Millennial from the ruling city who promises to help Evie rescue her sister from prison in exchange for something he needs. This is an offer Evie can't refuse no matter the cost, which in her case is death. The real question is can she trust him? As they get closer to finding Annie the closer they become to getting caught and with the assistance of her best friend Red their adventure begins!
