Kristina (spaz_girl) Here is where we can discuss The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, chapters 1-8.
DO NOT post any spoilers from further along in the book, this is just for chapters 1-8. Discussing events from these chapters is perfectly fine.

Kristina (spaz_girl) I know I've been incredibly absent as of late... I've moved to a farm and so far we have not found an internet provider that offers service out there. =(

Anyways...
I am starting this one today!

Katy (kathy_h) I am starting today! Should be able to get it finished this week. :)

Katy (kathy_h) BTW, Neil Gaiman is hit or miss with me, so we will see.

I've always been a fan, but I know a lot of people think that way. I hope you like it!!

Katy (kathy_h) Just started, am loving this book. So far I would call this one a definite hit. I wouldn't be surprised if I finish it tonight. Thanks for the suggestion.

That bathtub scene is right up there with The Shining in creepiness factor.

Michael (michaeljsullivan) | 84 comments I loved this book. It reminded me a great deal of A Wrinkle in Time with the way the women on the farm act. I "read" it via audio books and Neil Gaiman does an excellent job narrating his own work and provides an extra level to the experience. I also agree with Kathy that the bathtub scene had a great creepiness factor.
