I thought it was a just a step up from absolutely awful. Some good sounding recipes....that was about it!

I wouldn't say it was great, but I didn't mind it.

I really want to read both of these and some people here (you know who you are) keep throwing out these amazing other books that I'm compelled to read (and have yet to regret reading them). I feel your pain lol.

It was sort of OK but I don't like it when main character does so many stupid and illegal things. Won't be reading any more of this series.

Leslie this book would have to go a Looong way to beat
Brat Farrar, but so I don't really expect it to quite measure up to that.

The Lucy Valentine Series is a pretty good series. I have read all of them up to date and throughly enjoyed them all. Happy reading :-)

Fforde is so funny! Although I didn't think this one was as good as the first couple.
