I am reading my way through JB Stanley and Ellery Adams. I am in book 2 of the Collectibles series and have Written in Stone on deck too along with book 3 for the Collectibles. I would like to tackle the Hope Street Church mysteries. Then I want to finish up the Coffeehouse mysteries by Cleo Coyle!

The "Cruisin' Thru the Cozies Challenge" is also a group here on Goodreads, as is the "Cozy Mystery Alphabet Challenge". Just go to groups and enter one of those names. Hope that helps!

my next cozy will be a Josephine Tey... have only read one of hers and anxious to read another. Brett Faar was recommended. also want to read She Died a Lady, a Carter Dickson mystery I never heard of before.

Just finished it too, Jennifer and you're right about all the irritating things, especially the ending. Ay yi yi - too ridiculous!
When I finish the (non-cozy) that I'm reading now, I'll start either A Hoe Lot of Trouble or The Parrot Talks In Chocolate. I have both here waiting for me, although the first is due back at the library soon.

I don't know if it's a cozy or not, but my next read is Not a Creature was Stirring. I'm looking forward to starting it this afternoon.

I read this last month and really enjoyed it.
Next on the cozy list: The Love Talker and Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters, and Night of the Living Dandelion by Kate Collins (it fits two challenges, lol).
On the non-cozy horizon: Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf.

[bookcover:Murder on th..."Nice list! Have read several on your list. Love Diane Kelly's Death & Taxes series, as well as the Jenn McKinlay book, MURDER FOR CHOIR and the Magical Dressmaking book. Not so much THE AZALEA ASSAULT and WHEN THE COOKIE CRUMBLES. Also have BEWITCHED, BOTHERED & BISCOTTI and ARSENIC AND OLD CAKE coming up soon!
Hmm I'm not sure what cozy I want to read next. I am listening to
which is the latest in this series (I've already read his No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series). I am also almost finished the Janet Evanovich series. Now I'm looking for another cozy series to start, but there are SO many options I can't make a decision!
Rebecca wrote: "Now I'm looking for another cozy series to start, but there are SO many options I can't make a decision! "Are you looking for an older series with lots of books to read, or a newer series that you can catch up on quickly?
Barb wrote: "Are you looking for an older series with lots of books to read, or a newer series that you can catch up on quickly? " Probably a newer series so I can catch up quickly. I have some older series on my TBR but am intimidated by trying to read all 12 or so books to catch up.
Then you might want to look into any of the series by Jenn McKinlay. She has one series with 5 books, another with 3 books, and a new one starting later this year :) Another new series is Connie Archer's Soup Lovers series. The second book is due out in April.
Would you also be interested in older but shorter series? Series that have ended after maybe 4-5 books?

Jenn McKinlay also writes the Good Buy Girls series as Josie Belle!

Thanks! Just added the first of both of Jenn McKinlay's series. And yes it doesn't matter to me if the series is new or not, I just feel intimidated trying to catch up with so many.
I started reading Sue Grafton's novels a couple years ago, but am having trouble catching up to her. I love her books but I just have so many thing I want to read.
Thanks!
Rebecca wrote: "it doesn't matter to me if the series is new or not, I just feel intimidated trying to catch up with so many."I know that feeling LOL When I have a bit of extra time, I'll go through my list of series and post those that have only 5-6 books. Or maybe I'll PM the list to you, Rebecca, so as not to clutter up the board here.

I'm excited to start a new couples series! My cozy mystery reading has definitely been lacking recently and I need to get into more.
Kaye wrote: "Plan on starting
later today. Anyone read this one yet?"I did. It was pretty good, but still think the 2nd one is the best in the series.
Plan on reading Old Haunts by E.J. Copperman and How to Dine on Killer Wine by Penny Warner this weekend.
Rebecca wrote: "Next is either Books Can Be Deceiving or Sprinkle with Murder I can't decide!!"Both are excellent - I would give the cupcake series a slight edge.
Kari wrote: "I just picked up Speaking from Among the Bones from the library. I am looking foreword to visiting with Flavia again" That just arrived on my Nook. Definitely going to be reading that one next!
the last of the two books-out of chronology with guardian of the horizon from Emersons series by Elizabeth Peters
