The "Cruisin' Thru the Cozies Challenge" is also a group here on Goodreads, as is the "Cozy Mystery Alphabet Challenge". Just go to groups and enter one of those names. Hope that helps!

I read it and found many things to like, but many things irritating to the extreme. Not sure I'll read the third one as the second one didn't much improve...

Just finished it too, Jennifer and you're right about all the irritating things, especially the ending. Ay yi yi - too ridiculous!

It's a shame too, because I love the bookstore setting and the psychic stuff, but it's just not done very well.

I like this authors books, but havent read this one yet, I will be anxious to hear what you think! =)

I read this last month and really enjoyed it.
Next on the cozy list: The Love Talker and Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters, and Night of the Living Dandelion by Kate Collins (it fits two challenges, lol).
On the non-cozy horizon: Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf.

Wow! That looks a lot like mine! :)

Nice list! Have read several on your list. Love Diane Kelly's Death & Taxes series, as well as the Jenn McKinlay book, MURDER FOR CHOIR and the Magical Dressmaking book. Not so much THE AZALEA ASSAULT and WHEN THE COOKIE CRUMBLES. Also have BEWITCHED, BOTHERED & BISCOTTI and ARSENIC AND OLD CAKE coming up soon!

Are you looking for an older series with lots of books to read, or a newer series that you can catch up on quickly?

Probably a newer series so I can catch up quickly. I have some older series on my TBR but am intimidated by trying to read all 12 or so books to catch up.

Another new series is Connie Archer's Soup Lovers series. The second book is due out in April.
Would you also be interested in older but shorter series? Series that have ended after maybe 4-5 books?

Jenn McKinlay also writes the Good Buy Girls series as Josie Belle!

Thanks! Just added the first of both of Jenn McKinlay's series. And yes it doesn't matter to me if the series is new or not, I just feel intimidated trying to catch up with so many.
I started reading Sue Grafton's novels a couple years ago, but am having trouble catching up to her. I love her books but I just have so many thing I want to read.
Thanks!

I know that feeling LOL When I have a bit of extra time, I'll go through my list of series and post those that have only 5-6 books. Or maybe I'll PM the list to you, Rebecca, so as not to clutter up the board here.

Thank you so much! I just requested the first of Jenn McKinlay's books from the library. I'm excited to start a new couples series! My cozy mystery reading has definitely been lacking recently and I need to get into more.

I did. It was pretty good, but still think the 2nd one is the best in the series.

Both are excellent - I would give the cupcake series a slight edge.

That just arrived on my Nook. Definitely going to be reading that one next!
