Some parents really hate books with non-human characters, animals, inanimate objects that act like people. What do you think of this? One parent I know said they would never get a book that had non-human characters. What are the reasons?
Personally, I love characters that can lose their human face, varied as they are, and just be as interesting and varied as children, and not as boring as adults.
