Kinsey watched the cars pass as she sat crosslegged on a park bench. Her flaming red hair scattered around her face in the breeze.

Kinsey sighed, wishing she could drink blood. The sun weakened her powers and made her practically human. ((i like that. i've never heard of a vamp who was reduced to human. This'll be interesting.))

Nate watched as Mary ran after a toy he had just thrown. He glanced at the girl again.
Kinsey caught his glance. She smiled to herself. The boy was kinda cute. ((what does he look like? u post a picture yet?))

Nate looked away, blinking and watched Marty again. He sighed.
Kinsey wondered what was on the boy's mind. Her mind strayed once again to her thirst, but she pushed it away. Better to feed on druggies and hobos. This boy she might see again (she doesn't need to take much blood so the person doesn't die or turn into a vampire when she bites them. kinda confusing, i know.)

Nate wrinkled his nose when he felt eh girl staring at him. Marty ran back holding slobbery ball. He tossed it again.
Kinsey watched the dog, loyally bringing him back the ball every time. She sighed again. still a long time until sunset.

Kinsey saw him looking at her and contemplated asking him to sit on the bench with her. after all she was monumentally bored.

Nate looked down, biting his lip. She was looking back at him..weird.
((ok)) Kinsey sighed again. Sundays were always so slow. She wished the boy would stop looking at her like she was a freak. Or maybe that was her imagination.

Nate looked at Marty.
"Time to go home huh." he muttered, standing up. "Come on." he said, walking past the girl.
Kinsey watched him leave, wishing she had said something. She got up walking in circles around the bench. ((school time?))

Nate woke up. He had forgotten about the girl over night. He got up and quickly got ready, trying not to trip on Marty who was asleep in front of his door.
Kinsley walked from her house toward school, fresh clothes on. She was curious as to what they were going to try to teach her today. she walked in the front door, standing near her locker to finish her homework.

"Bye mom." He called, grabbing his backpack. "Bye dad." He ran out.
Kinsley finished her homework and began to sketch in her journal, not really wanting to go to homeroom.

Kinsley watched her drawing take shape, wondering what it would be.
Kinsley squinted at the picture, Odd. It looked like the boy and his dog from the park. Feeling some one looking at her, she glanced up and was shocked to see the man himself (no dog, though).

She saw the way they were looking at each other. She would end this before it started.
Kinsley sat shocked. Did he seriously just walk into her homeroom? She got up, closing her journal, and walked into her homeroom. she sat next to the boy. "Hi." she said. "I'm Kinsley. I couldn't help notice that you were staring at me in the park yesterday. I'm sorry if I made you fell uncomfortable." Kinsley took in his scent. It was clean and fresh, like fresh vegetables... or maybe flowers. But she decided it was probably safest not to think about it.

"Hi, Kinsley...I'm sorry. Just..I was just wondering why you were staring at me." he blushed a little.
Kinsley smiled. Awww... he's so cute... she thought. "I was utterly bored and had nothing else to do. Is that a good enough reason?"
"Nathan..." Kinsley mulled it over. she had met a Nathaniel once, but never a Nathan. "I like that name." She decided. She smiled. "What classes do you have?"
((sorry people are on now)) "Your welcome." She looked at his schedule. "You have nearly all the same classes as me. I just have Psychology instead of Sociology."((random classes... actually, those two are paired up in my school. you have to take them together.))
Kinsley smiled. "Yeah, i guess so. I could show you around if you like."
"Not with me, you won't." Kinsley smiled. This boy was cute and was nervous around her like most boys. she liked him.

"Okay good. I really don't want to embarrass myself in front of the school. Or maybe I should be fashionably late." He said grinning a little.

There was something about him...something odd. What was it?
((seriously, what was it? BTW, i know this is a stupid question, but Nate is a vamp, right?))
((uh, no, actually nate is a human. And I guess that every vampire will have to be different because Kinsley's powers are only severely weakened by the sun))
Kinsley walked down the hall with Nathan, filling him in on all the teachers' quirks. When the got to the door of their first class, Kinsley smiled at him. "Here we are. Animal science. A mandatory class for us, unfortunately. Not that I don't love animals."

Ovelia was down the hall from the two, halfway down, behind the lockers. She strained her ears. Why did Kinsley have to be so quiet???
Just talking about class...CLASS! Stupid! She was late. A downside of becoming a vampire while still in school...she would have to give up the hunt for now.
((what grade?))
((uh... 12 i think cause nate has a car.)) Kinsley walked into the classroom ((sorry alexi, i'm kinda bored to death)) and sat at her seat. She flipped her notebook to the drawing of nathan and began to perfect it.
((yeah, me too... I have some senior friends tho. Oh well, since we're all in the same boat, I guess we can just, y'know... infer))
