Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments An author has posted here (http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...) with a name change for their published series. The first two books were published under the original series name, but the series was never given on the cover of the book so the books don't seem to have been reissued with any changes as part of this series name change. I have listed the series with the original name in the description (http://www.goodreads.com/series/10688...) which should be fine, but I don't think we have a policy for handling the series parenthetical in the title field. Should it (a) stay as originally published, (b) be updated to match the new series name, or (c) be removed entirely from the title field in order to avoid the question? (I lean toward (a) or (c).) Does it need alternate editions listing the new series name?

There are only two cases where I'd disagree:

1) Covers of original printing(s) has the original series title on them;
2) Title(s) of book(s) have changed at the same time as the title of the series.
