Hello! It was requested by numerous people to have some simple guidelines for conduct while on this new and (extremely quickly) growing group. I'll keep it simple and lift some of the rules from Lisa's other groups. Firstly, let's keep in mind that a wide range of people will be reading this group, so let's keep things as nice as possible. Criticism is fine, encouraged even, but let's keep it within bounds. We want everyone to feel welcome.
1) Be respectful. This is a place for sharing ideas and opinions on books. Discussion is welcome, personal attacks are not. We know not everyone will agree on topics, and that is what discussions are for, but please keep your posts friendly and constructive. Offensive or derogatory comments will be removed and the poster will be warned. If it continues to happen, the member will be removed from the group.
2) Use spoiler tags when posting anything here with spoilers. Discussions in the forum are held weekly, each covering an additional 25% of the book until the final week where the entire book may be discussed.
3) Please keep discussions on topic. Off topic discussions are welcome, just take them to a thread where they wont derail current topics.
4) Please keep any self promotion to the designated Self Promotion folder. Moderators will remove any self promoting posts outside of that area.
I'll be creating more subfolders soon for assorted topics.
