The Twilight Saga question

Always read the book first! I have not done that sometimes and in doing so, it totally ruins the book--in the case of Eragon, the movie moved way faster and Eragon was just not that interesting as a book... In the case of Stardust, the book was not good in my opinion, either--however, it may have seemed like the movie was bad had I done it the other way around.
Anywho, generally, I prefer to read the book first so I know how the story is SUPPOSED to go.

With the twilight series I did.

I always have to read the book first, if I ever screw up and watch the movie(s), I'll never read the book. Weird, I know.

I try to always read the book first,but sometimes the movie will bring the book to my attention,for example Game of thrones I had never heard of the book before HBO aired it then I bought the books and read them,a wonderful read I may add if you haven't read them please run and get these books you will not regret it.

Usually I read the books first. Sometimes I won't know it's from a book until after or I don't have time to read it before I see it.

I always try to read the book first because it allows me to really enjoy the movie. It kind of gives me more respect for the choices that screenwriters have to make when translating the book into a movie format. But don't get me wrong there are still times when I'm sitting in the theater thinking: Where is the book? As is the case with City of Bones because really what was that?

Sometimes I read books first. Sometimes I watch movies first. It depends if I've found out about books or movies first. Like for example, if I notice a movie based on book and never heard of book before I watch movie first then book.

In my case, sometimes I watch the movie and I don't know that it's an adaptation,and If I like it, I read the book... Sometimes I just see the trailor of a new movie, I read the book first then I watch it...
Most of time I like the book more than the movie.

I have to read the book first. This way I can compare what I have read to the movie. The end result is always the book is better.
