There's been a lot of buzz about who should play Christian, Ana and even Elena. So who would you cast for other secondary characters?

All of the actors that I imagined in the different roles are technically too old for the parts. I imagined someone like Kate Hudson as Kate and Paul Walker as Elliot.
i actually don't think those are bad recommendations for kate and elliot. i think that they could do some good - although sometimes i had it in my mind that kate would be someone a bit more polished...not sure who that would be though. maybe camilla belle or someone like that. i do like paul walker as elliot or even ryan reynolds although i know that he probably wouldn't do it. i can just picture him saying 'laters baby' all the time.
Henry Cavill would be a good Christian Grey and I see Emilia Clarke as Anastasia Steele. For Kate I would choose Blake Lively she's a perfect Kate and for Elliot I would go with Kellan Lutz.
I like Ryan Reynolds as Elliot!! I haven't made up my mind for anyone else yet, but i like the idea of Henry Cavill for Christian and Blake Lively as kate too!! :-)
I just came across this old article that said Carla Gugino has been cast as Mrs Robinson. I pictured someone like Michelle Pfeiffer or Cameron Diaz when I was reading the books.http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/201...

ooo Michelle Pfeiffer!! I love that idea!!! She would be a great Mrs. Robinson!!! I think Cameron Diaz is still too young.
Is Elena in the first book, though? I remember that she's mentioned, but I don't remember if she actually makes an appearance.
I just put a face to the name Carla Gugino, I love her!! I think she will be perfect to play Elena (Mrs. Robinson)!!! And I was reading the polls on the article Joyce posted and I think Emma Watson or Alexis Bledel would make a good Ana! I'm leaning more towards Emma Watson because I think she would pull off the innocence and the mischievous curiosity of Ana.

Matt Bomer as Christian Grey. I promise you he is perfect for the role. He got the looks,charm and the fifty sex appeal.

That's true. They might even do some sort of flashback to explain who she is.
I like Jenny McCarthy for Elena, i think she would be perfect!
Lol. I actually like Jenny McCarthy as an actress. I think she's hilarious. Her portrayal of Elena might actually make the film a lot more funny and interesting.

I totally agree with Analise! Great casting ideas.
I would love Jason Statham as Taylor!

That is who I pictured throughout the story:) I almost forgot...I think Colin Firth is the perfect Dr. Flynn too!
I pictured Ewan McGregor as Dr. Flynn throughout the series. And Idris Elba as Taylor. I'm not sure why I pictured a black man in the role I just did.
