Cynthia Armistead Newman (technomom) | 159 comments When I look at this book, it says there's another edition: this one. They're two different volumes in one series, but not the same book, so I went here to separate them - and they don't show up as having been combined at all, so I can't separate them.

Help?

Thanks!
Cyn

Jessica | 963 comments It won't see it because the author isn't listed on the first one. I have no clue how it happened, but I would put the first author of the book with all the other authors as the main author of the other one. Then separate, and remove the other author after that.

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments That was a tricky one. They weren't showing up on the same combine page because they have different first authors. To separate books with different first authors, you have to use the separate tool. The separate tool wasn't showing up as an option because the combine page only acknowledged a single book by that author and therefore thought there was nothing to separate.

To fix the problem I had to temporarily combine the key book (the one with the most reviews) with another book. Once this was done, the separate tool popped up as an option. From there I could separate the problem version as well as the temporary combined version.

This series needs a ton of work to get editors and contributors in some logical order.

Cynthia Armistead Newman (technomom) | 159 comments I'm working on the series - now there's a new glitch, with volumes 1, 12, and 19 showing up as combined when you view 1, but not the others.

I'll go through them all. Thanks for the help :-)
