Sounds cool. I'd love to read The Goldfinch; it sounds really good.

Watching one of my fave shows with my BF - Top Gear. I'm am not a gear head by any means, but I LOVE this show.
Catching up on posts, cleaning house, and cooking some ribs in the slow cooker. Determined to finish the books I'm currently reading before starting The Strain.
Getting off the computer and going to the bedroom to read. Plan for tonight. Finish
and read at least 50 more pages in
. I just don't get a lot of reading done when I'm on GR's. Best to read and then get online.

I'm about to go and make a drink then I think I'm going to finish the walking dead. Nick downloaded the second half of the season earlier so I want to find out what happened. I'm trying not to read the walking dead thread:-)
I'm finishing Rot and Ruin, drinking lots of water (got myself another kidney stone), and have some running to do later.
Sorry I've not been on much for the past few days, I've been in the hospital having my iv steroids. It always wears me down when I have this treatment but thankfully is isn't often:) But I got to finish some books and get pampered a bit from my kids. I'll catch up with everything over the next couple of days.

Mine is purple/red but I'm about to change mine as well, just can't decide to what though:) what other colours have you done?

I few years back when I tried to go from blonde to auburn my hair turned green, lol. It looked crazy:)

Checking up on GR. I have to work later. What a bummer. :P Have to pick up the pace; I'm starting to fall behind and I don't like it.
Good luck catching up with your reading Holly:) I'm sat on the edge of my bed trying to settle down and get some sleep, its 5.30am here so its now or never!!If I didn't dye my hair it would be white as well Daniel:o, and thanks Julia I'm starting to feel a bit more like myself again. I hate the way the drugs make my head feel:( but its all done now:)
Just got back from a bookfair at one of my kids schools. Didnt do to bad. 4 books, 2 posters, 2 packs of nail stickers and 2 bookmarks for $24
Had a really busy day and I'm exhausted. Ready to take time for me. Gonna read until my eyes won't stay open anymore.
Nice haul Joycedale:) its 11pm here and I don't want to be up most of the night again so I'm going to try and relax and just read for a bit. I've got a busy day tomorrow so I need to get some sleep so I can get all my stuff done!
Spent the whole day at court with grandson. It is really nice outside, so we are taking the dog for a walk shortly. Afterwards I plan to read and relax for the rest of the night.
Court dates about kids are so stressful. I hope everything is going alright with him Cindy:) Its 11.10pm here and I'm not doing much, I'm tired tonight. I've got my cat snoozing next to me and I'm trying to think of something to watch:o
Got back from walking the dog and cooked dinner. Now I'm settling down to read something. I'm not doing a dam# thing the rest of the night except relax. Been going continuously since 5:30 a.m. this morning.
Spent the day with my sis and ex sis in law. Went about 150 miles in the car. Combine that with a buffet lunch and warm day I just want to sleep now.
Last night at about 9.30pm I just fell asleep and I slept right through until 11.30am this morning. By I'd swap that in a heartbeat for some proper regular sleep every night. Its now 3.15pm and I'm not doing much:) Just relaxing until my grandson Jamie comes round for dinner in a couple of hours.
I am watching the live coverage of the air show on my ipad. Thunder over Louisville is today and I love the airshow. However, you couldn't pay me to go down to the riverfront. It is a nightmare to get home after the fireworks. Plus, a couple of gangs that have been terrorizing the city for a couple of weeks now have threatened to cause trouble. I'm happy just watching from home. Reading a little bit and taking it easy.
I've had a day or two without reading to give my eyes a break but I've just read 50 or so pages of the bell. really good so far.
I'm chilling in the bed with my laptop and books.
12:42 p.m. and I'm getting ready to fix some coffee and read. Don't have any doctors appointments today and I'm a little depressed. Great time for reading some books and getting out of myself for a while.

Or you're wishing you could see a doctor to help because you're feeling depressed? Just clarifyin'! *grin*
I've been going through this since December Brenda. Lots of medical problems from breaking my back in January to heart problems. Lost my job because I passed out at work and have been hospitalized three times since mid-December. It's just getting old. I am happy about no doctors appointments today though.
Okay, clarified. I was just trying to cheer you up, with a smart-aleck remark. I hope you're doing better. Yeah, as some friends of mine say, I didn't sign up for this!!!
Thanks Brenda. A little humor never hurts.
sonny wrote: "I've had a day or two without reading to give my eyes a break but I've just read 50 or so pages of the bell. really good so far."I have to do that as well Sonny and I hate it:( But every few days it just has to be done, if not I get major migraines. Have fun easing back into your books:-)
learnt a new word.rebarbative.
another word to put my self down. I look rebarbative.
oh dear.
I am reading.
I am still reading. I'm a really slow reader, so progress is slow. But, I enjoying it and that's all that counts.

As a matter of fact Angie - I should probably watch a good comedy within the next day or so. Don't remember the last time I watched one.
