What are you up to at the moment?
I think Body Rides is my favorite so far, that or The Woods are Dark.Friday Night in Beast House was the worst so far, even though All Hallows Eve was a close second in the bad column.
Actually, maybe Savage was the worst. If that was the one with Jack the Ripper, then yes - that was my least favorite.

Actually,..."
Thanks, Mr. Light.
Evans wrote: "What about you?"I don't believe I've read any Laymon. If I have, it was sometime in my teens, I'd say. I've known of him for a long, long time. I'm trying to figure out which one to pick up first.
I'll have to read more of them to get my least favourite.Has any one read Dean Koonz s What the Night knows?

No, I've not read that one.
My favorite so far would be Body Rides, closely followed by After Midnight and Into The Fire. Least so far would be Resurrection Dreams, which would have been great except for a terrible ending, and No Sanctuary. There are a lot more to read, so those could change.
I haven't read anything new from Koontz since Forever Odd or Your Heart Belongs To Me. He wrote some of my favorite all time books, though.
Thanks, Adam and Evans, for your Laymon suggestions, but I think I'm going to start with The Travelling Vampire Show. I like the premise for this one. I'm a sucker for circus/carnival settings. Flesh also had a premise I liked, but it seems everyone dislikes that one.
Both of them are okay, Travelling Vampire being quite a bit more lively than Flesh. Flesh was surprisingly boring to me. Travelling Vampire was a fun read, and actually a great starting point for you, Gregor.
Adam, what do you think k of The Stake, I wasn't sure if it was any good. I hope we do another R.L. buddy read after we've finished Endess Night. It's been good reading through his novels
I haven't read The Stake yet, Angie. Oh and I enjoy these reads, too. I am sure we could do another.
Addy wrote: "Nice steal Evans! Wish I knew how to add pictures, though I never find as much as you do."Neither do I, it's been explained to me step by step. And more than once as well!!
Playing monopoly with my kids. its been 3 hrs already, everyone's quit except my 8 yr old. He won't lol
I used to have monopoly tournaments with my kids, they used to play and if they won they'd get to stay up late, lol. It was lots of fun:)
Yeah. And I know she wasn't doing well at that time. The thing I hate about social media is that people sometimes vanish, and we are left unable to find them. I do hope she checks in with us sometime soon.
I hadn't realised it had been that long, I hope she's doing ok. I've just been trying to find the base of the Christmas tree, I think I threw it out when I moved. Crap!
At the moment I'm thinking crap, I've stayed up all night again!! I've got a busy day as well. I should be used to it by now:) It's 5,50 am. Crazy
I hate the snow. Between it and thanksgiving my kids have only went to school 3 days in the last 3 weeks. 2day I opened up a new canister of coffee, I love that smell. So I'm going to sit here with a cup and try to get some reading done before they all get up. My 8 yr old is sitting here quietly watching cartoons.
I've got Darker than Black on tv, it's only a short run animee but it's one of my favourites. No snow here just lots of really cold rain. Were the schools shut because of the snow? They must love that, if ever our schools shut in the snow my kids got so excited, but it was rare! I'm going to see The Hobbit tomorrow but I didn't really like all the changes that were made. I just want to see the Dragon:)
Yes its because of snow. They had a week and half out for thanksgiving and went back for 3 days when the snow hit. As of right now they haven't canceled for tomorrow but we're supposed to get hit with ice about 5am. When I was a kid we hardly ever had a snow day so we loved them too but my kids and nephews are getting anxious to get back.
If it's that much ice it's not the same as being able to play in the snow. They must be getting bored as well, it's a lot of time of! What have you been doing to entertain them?
Lol it was snow but now we're expecting ice. We went to the library a few times and they went sledding with their friends and we've went through tons of hot chocolate and dvds
I can imagine!! My group of mums used to alternate sleep overs so we all got the chance of a night of, but I always loved having all the kids round. Now I do the same with my grandson. Do your kids have their favourite DVD s that they want to watch all the time?
We just got hit with our first snow storm of the season. somewhere between 12" and 18". I worked like crazy to get my snow blower going, and it wasn't until just after the snow started to fall, that it finally started for the first time this year. Timing is everything!!

O yes I think if I have to watch Willie Wonka or Monster High one more time I may scream. The ice wasn't as bad as predicted and a lot of the snow has melted 2day so hopefully they go back tomorrow. If they don't the parents may revolt lol.
Adam wrote: "Watching Elysium. Good movie thus far."I watched that last night, what a different look for Matt Damon. I wasn't to sure at first but I ended up really liking it!!
I should be preparing dinner (Fajitas) but I don't want to quit the computer and the christams songs I'm listening to.
I've got Nick, my son round for dinner today. And it's his turn to cook. It should be interesting, lol. And we're watching Shoot em Up, which is amusing in its own crazy way!
Need to make dinner.....i don't much like cooking but gotta do it (sigh). Pretty uneventful day. Missing my extended family. Never get to spend the holidays with them, so Christmas is pretty low key.
What am I doing right at this moment? Patiently waiting to taste test the cookies that should be coming out of the oven soon while typing this and listening to my stomach growl :o)
Oh and Shoot Em Up was such a kick butt movie. I gotta get a copy of that soon. Oh and look at that, you got a Nick and I got a Nick so snazzy :o)
I do think it's interesting that there is a similar scene in that that is in the first Jason Bourne movie but still Shoot Em Up...I love the bad guy in it and the movie had lots of memorable scenes
Steven wrote: "What am I doing right at this moment? Yummy. I spent the day trying to sort out the polls for January. It took me ages, so now I've got the x-files on. I'm up to s.4.
I loved X-Files. I think Season 4 was probably my favorite. I hear there are rumors that they may make a third movie. It's been quite a while, so I'd love to see what comes of it.
I'm sat watching Gremlins, because it's Christmas now, so I want to wish everyone happy Christmas, or happy holidays. I hope everyone has a great time:-)!
Scrolling the cheapest online bookstore I know for some new books. I got money for Christmas, and I'm gonna use a whole lot of it on books.
Holding down the couch with my daughter, reading on our Nooks. She has the latest Patterson Middle School.book, and I am soul-deep in the phantasmagoric Dead Sea.
Its 1.45 in the morning here, and I'm so tired! But I finally got my nexus7 so I'm playing with it. Its got there kindle and good reads app,but I don't know how to work most of it!

Time to stand guard over my thrift store treasures."
Evans, what's the most crackin' Laymon read you've read so far?
