Must take meds and go to bed now. I'm even gonna give church a shot tomorrow. Going with a friend. We'll see how that turns out, but I'm keeping an open mind.

Seems very bizarre and a little eerie.

I love that idea!
Made some progress in Swan Song, fixed lunch, and went to church this morning. Getting ready to eat and go to my son's house for a while. Gonna be a busy day.
Just watched The Stand for the first time since it originally aired on television. After reading Swan Song I just had to watch this. I have to say that The Stand, though cheesy was pretty damn good. Now I need to reread the book.
I just got home from work and Jeff's family is visiting from Wisconsin. Guess that's gonna limit my reading time, but they will only be here for a couple of days. Hey, at least I get along with them OK.
Jeff and his family were gone when I got home, so I've done a bit of reading and started cleaning my bathroom. Have to leave in about an hour to pick up a friend.
Just got home from work to find that the print proofs for my book Toes Up had arrived. It is now time to settle in and read through in search of any pesky typos that may still be hiding in it. I sure hope I don't find any.
Just got home from all my running and it's bedtime real soon. Have to get up in a little over six hours. Gonna take meds, wait for them to kick in, read in the meantime, and then bed. Reading Swan Song for around 30 minutes or so.
So much for fresh scandanavian air or is it our acid rain passing over from the UK again.Hope the day gets brighter for you.
Just dropped the kids off at school so I'm going to mop the kitchen. then I'll probably start on Gone. since the series completed recently I can finally start it, went to the library yesterday and picked up all 6
At work. Again. Seems like I just did this yesterday! And the day before! And the day before that! LOL!

Couldn't have said it better. This exact thought runs through my head at work every day.

Enrolled my son into pre-school. He's starts on his birthday...lol. I'm so excited for him:) Haven't done any reading today, but the day is still young!
I haven't been home from work very long and have some things to do tonight. Hope to get at least an hour of reading in before I take off.
Trying to schedule tennis matches, college visits and promo for tomorrow's book release all at the same time. The start of senior year in high school is crazy busy!!

I've been having a lot of trouble getting into much of anything here lately. I could really use a 5-star book about right now.
Finishing Bizenghast Volume 2 and then continuing Cinderella Dressed in Ashes. Both are very fun reads.
Just got home and would love to read another 50 pages or so in Swan Song before going to bed. Need to be in bed by at least 11:30 tonight.
In for a long night here. My mom is in bad shape. She has been dealing with the ravages MS for a long time and things have taken a turn for the worse. I may not be on for a while, but I wish you all well.

I am so sorry to hear this Adam. I will keep her and your family in my prayers.

Thank you Addy and Cindy. We are still not sure what is going on.. This is such a hard disease to understand. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated big time.

Picked up The Hidden by Sarah Pinborough and No Sanctuary by the one and only Richard Laymon at the dollar store:) They always have RL there, so once in a while I like to check.
Have some running to do tonight and I'm going to the Patton Museum with Jeff's family tomorrow. Would like to read for an hour or two when I get home tonight, but I'm dragging butt. Don't know how this will work out. Will just have to see how I feel when I get home. Take care guys and I'll talk to you later.
Brenda wrote: "Oh, Adam - and Evans, I would assume - I'm sorry to hear that. You're all in my prayers, too."Thanks Brenda and everyone for the thoughts, Adam is there with her. Wish I could be.
Thanks everyone for the prayers and good vibes. Our family can't get enough of them at this time. I haven't slept in three days, but I am home for the night. Going to pound down a few cold beers and get a few winks before work tomorrow. Then back to the hospital. I am going to check up on some posts for a while before sleep takes me.
Adam and Evans - If it's not too personal, what is your mother's first name? I do believe in prayer and would like to pray for her by her first name. Keeping your whole family in my thoughts and prayers.
Getting ready to go to the museum with Jeff's family in about an hour. Probably won't have a lot of time online until later tonight.

I'm back from the museum and got some reading in. Gonna update my status on Swan Song and read some more. Plan to stay home the rest of the night and tomorrow.

You are welcome Adam. I'm sure she knows how much you and Evans love her.
