Leo gave out a low growl from his throat when he heard 'lazy mutt' in the middle of his beautiful dream of fat bunnies and roasted pigs. He was about to sink his teeth into the flying pig he caught when...he didn't know what happened but something seemed to pulled him out of his sleep and he woke up. Turning back into a human and grumbling because he was alert now and couldn't continue sleeping, Leo got up into a sitting position, his legs crossed in front of him.
"I heard that about being a lazy mutt, you know," Leo said, giving Maisie a displeased look that faded away instantly into his usual grin. "Find anything worth the attention of my great mind?"
((Maybe they could find something or someone to make some action...though I don't think the others are on.))

"Okay, so I'm going to do this Worried-Human style," Leo said as he stood and crossed his arms over his chest. He started to pace back and forth, between two boulders. "Do you want to call them? ask them if Zena's safe and sound?" he offered, toying with his phone by pressing the power button rapidly.
"Okay then, I'll just punch in a random number and start conversation with the person on the other side," Leo said, pressing random numbers before fitting the phone to his ear. "Hello? Hi, this is Leo. Uhmm, I don't know you at all but I'm going to talk anyway. Good that you're as bored as I am or you would kill me? Right. So let's talk..." Leo started a conversation with a 'stranger' on the other side of the phone.
Shooting her a glare, Leo continued talking for another five minutes before hanging up and shoving the phone back into his pocket. "Yeah, you're right. What if that's a Simpcon? It was pure coincidence but I caught Alec's office number! I didn't even know what it was!" Leo exclaimed, a wide grin on his face. "I'm damn lucky that Alec himself picked up and not Lara because Lara would kill me."
((I'm doing this at random, see how it turns out...))
"Nah, if I recall correctly, the Head has his office above Alec's and they don't mingle much unless it's tea time," Leo said, still easy-going and grinning. "But since you asked, I'll alter this number a bit and see if I catch the Head's office number..." Leo slipped out his phone and started altering the number from the call records.
"Fine," Leo said in a sigh, stashing away his phone before he could press 'call'. "Maybe I should be going back to the mall," he told her as he started making his way slowly towards the direction which the mall was. He didn't need to be suspected by any of the Simpcons right now. He didn't want to be in Ruth's place, though Alec didn't seem interested in anything besides sleeping during their small chat a few seconds ago.
"Too bad then, life is life," Leo called back at her. "And besides, I'm a reckless piece of Howler material that will obey the Simpcons with not much questions asked. You don't want me on the Freelancer side."
"Good," Renn replied, smirking. He had, of course. It had been awhile.
"Well, don't you have to report, go home, file that," Renn said, referring to the map.
"I'm going to stay here and wait for you," Renn replied, sitting. He yawned.
Renn got up quickly before she left and approached her.
Renn leaned forward and kissed her softly for a moment. "Goodbye," he said, pulling back.
"Goodbye, meaning that if you don't, I'm coming after you," Renn said, smirking.
"I'm already dead," Renn pointed out, smiling. "Come back soon. If a whole twenty-four hours passes I'm going to come after you."

Sit here and watch the marble grow old and the dust older?" He marched down the corridor stopping in front of a small shop. It was small and just there, you wouldn't look at it unless you were looking out for it.
Unlocking the fogged glass door, Leo stepped into the shop and turned on the lights. Inside, with the illuminating bulbs overhead, Maisie could see lines and lines of weapons of all sorts. Guns-old or new fashioned-and swords, bows and arrows, gadgets and gizmos, bombs and missile controllers... The possibilities seemed endless, strange for such a small shop.
"Here, I sell weapons to Freelancers and Simpcons alike, though for the Freelancers...the weapons aren't as good. I made these myself, and my customers can call for customized weapons too. Like you see Ruth's? Ryiia and Marsoon? I kind of made them for him. And you probably never seen Alec's Unixaa, but I made her too," Leo said, gesturing to the glinting weapons on the walls and tables.

In his cave, Renn was chuckling. When they unfolded the map, it would say, 'Congratulations! Now come get the real one!' Renn wasn't a fool.

Renn retrieved his longsword. He supposed he'd need it if the Simpcons came back in force.

Renn hoped Zena wouldn't be forced to come after him, because he really did like her, maybe even love, but he wasn't sure that even existed anymore. His sword's sheath glinted in the sun.

"I need to find my mom. I won't turn away from that," Leo informed her as he slipped past her, towards a big cupboard tucked to the side. He opened the dusty doors and inside stood a perfectly fine mattress. "You're going to sleep on this on the floor. I get the flimsy bed."
"Wait, what?" Leo turned around with a exaggerated gape. "I- I- I- I CAN'T lie on the floor! Hey, fragile thing here," he said with a smirk that gave away it was a joke. "Fine, I'll sleep on the floor and try live for myself."
"Whatever. Good night..." he muttered back setting the mattress on the floor and turning into a wolf. His last words before he did were "have nasty dreams".
Renn waited for them to return, sighing. They'd want to fight, he realized.
