I joined a week or so ago and noticed the same. I've just been using goodreads to keep track of the books I read now since there hasn't been any discussion.
Well, seeing as the last book was selected over a month ago,I suggest we open a poll and select a new book, maybe get some discussion on Meditations going...
Yeah, When I joined, there was already a book being read so I decided to wait.Maybe we can have discussions about multiple books to keep it alive. Like a "big" book for a month, but in between we can read 2 short (<100 pages) ones for 2 weeks. I don't know how others feel about reading more than a book at once.
As Komrade says, I'm up for a book on meditation (was thinking of ether zen meditation, or taoism).
A short book (like the old man and the sea?) would be good to get some life back on this board.
I suggest we read "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell. It should be an engrossing, non-technical read about total alphas. Beyond that, I'd like for the group to remain active and would be willing to take over some moderation duties if nobody else wants to.

I think that's a good idea. After we finish Meditations, we could make a new poll for the next book.

I think it was in the polls section. If everyone agrees to restart Meditations I could create the thread.

Well, according to the poll, Meditations is in the lead. I'm up for it... I just have to find a copy now.
I'm down to read Meditations.Kwyjibo, the book can actually be downloaded from this site.
